"I loved the lakefront location and room with a view. Both the train station and bus stop are very convenient, my only disappointment was that boat service is suspended until April of 2027."

"What a beautiful little hidden gem in the heart of Quarna Sotto- the hosts were so friendly and helpful and the breakfasts were excellent with freshly baked treats each morning- the area is beautiful - so peaceful and remote and is ideally placed for exploring the lake and the mountains we would definitely love to return- just perfect!"

"The hotel is well situated and staff very helpful & accommodating."

"An unbeatable view, spacious and comfortable room and wonderful breakfast. "

"Excellent location very helpful and accommodating staff"

"Great hotel! I stayed here with my dad during the Oceanman event. The location is perfect, as it's only a few meters from the start area of the Half Oceanman race. We received a very warm welcome, and all the staff were exceptionally friendly. We also had dinner at the hotel restaurant. The pizza was delicious, light, and well prepared. "Really beautiful room and views and I loved the balcony. Breakfast was also great. Pretty much everything on the island other than 3-4 restaurants closes after 6 so be prepared. There are some mosquitos on the island as well"

"A wonderful stay in a very elegant hotel, we loved it. Going back for sure."

"Great location literally on the lake with access to the lake. Fantastic views."

"A great hotel in a fantastic location with a lovely pool. The hotel was spotlessly clean and all the staff were extremely friendly and helpful."

"It's our 2nd time to stay at Pesce d'Oro and like the 1st, everything was great, from staff to food to room. We'll definitely return."

"Very well kept hotel with good breakfast and helpful stuff specially Katya ."

"The rooms are nice and clean. However, if you have room that face the street, it is very noisy starting at 5:30am. It well insulated if you sleep with the windows closed. Breakfast is ok. Friendly staff."

"Its location, the bar and the staff."

"Clean room, staff is very friendly, beautiful view from the balcony!"

"Great location spacious room and very friendly staff."

"No air conditioning but the staff was able to get us a fan which helped a lot. It’s an older building but fits the general vibe of the town. Overall, was fine for our stay in Orta."

"A great place to stay close to Lago Maggiore and Malpensa Airport."

"This was an amazing hotel - request a water view - you won’t be disappointed"
