"Great stay. Lovely room in block across from the main hotel. Comfy beds, tea, coffee and biscuits and complementary water. Lovely free bathroom products. Room 300. Managed to get a parking space in the very tight car park. Friendly and attentive staff. Lovely breakfast. Great cocktails. Will come again "

"We had a pleasant 1 night stay. Check in was made effortless and welcoming by the young lady on reception (sorry I didn’t catch your name but it was Saturday 7th afternoon). We used the gym and pool which had been recently refurbished and were great. There seems to be other renovations taking place which the hotel could benefit from. Good value for money."

"Staff were extremely helpful, room was clean and spacious. My only criticism would be that I wasn’t told that if I had pre-booked breakfast it would have been cheaper. I think £18.49 is a bit steep for breakfast"

"First time we stayed at double tree Stayed as a family two adult and two children Nice atmosphere Nice lobby and common areas Rooms are to a good standard Staff are lovely During our dinner the dinner party sitting next to us the child had an asthma attack in the restaurant, it was a pleasure to see all the staff provide immediate assistant to the table, bringing water, some ice cream for the young child after he calmed down, the restaurant team also alerted reception who also checked on the guest, it was a real pleasure to see how empathetic the team reacted to a guest in need even the young. Doubletree by Hilton would be our first choice in the future Thank you for a lovely stay "

"Very good hotel,we had an issue with the heating in the room but informed reception who offered to move us to another room or put a heater in our room,we took up the latter and had a nice meal in the restaurant and when we went back to the room the heater was already there,so 1st class service."
