Good location but not very pleasant stay

Posted 27-Nov-2017
This hotel is in a good location in relation to the different tourist attractions however I found myself having an issue after an issue - Firstly, I was put in a corner room, which technically came with a small balcony but because of its shape, I was left with very little natural light, on top of that, there were only three small lamps all on one side of the room. I saw into other rooms when the housekeeper was cleaning them and they were much lighter and more pleasant despite being the same size. All staff were nice and courteous although one member of staff could have been more approachable. After just speaking to him once I was uncomfortable with approaching him with any further questions. The room only had one electric socket. As someone travelling on my own, it still caused me some problems but I cannot imagine a couple using that room. The decor of the hotel was nice but the room needed some tlc - bits of paint were peeling off the walls. Overall, it was an ok stay but I would not stay again.

Very comfortable beds. Had a double bed and two singles so a spacious room. Not much furniture. It's not by any means luxury but it had everything we needed and comfortable at a good rate.

Good budget choice with great public transport

2 metro stops to Gare Saint-Charles and 2 tramway stops to Vieux-Port. Also some minutes walking you can connect bus 60 to Basilique Notre-Dame de la Gare. The amenities in the room was very basic, but enough to stay comfy. Staff was very attentive.

not enough

Posted 22-May-2017
Cons: cleaner rooms. shampoo and conditioner.
Location: Near a very busy street that has lots of stores.
There was no shampoo, no extra toilet paper roll. The walls were dirty and there was a mold spot near the air conditioning system. The cleaning ladies knocked on the door two days in a row to ask about cleaning although the sign on the door said to not disturb. The area is a little sketchy and dirty.

Good location close to metro

Cons: The walls are quite thin so you can hear when the room next to you flushes the toilet, showers and 'those' sounds. Not sure if the area is very good
Good location, a short walk to the metro station and trams. Not sure if the area is very good as quite often there would be a few people just milling about. I didn't feel unsafe, but it may unsettle others.

Hard to find on a back street.

Posted 04-May-2017
Location: Too far out in a highly congested area.
The hotel is old and in poor condition. The car garage has three elevators, all of which are too small and require extreme skill and effort to avoid damage to your car. It is far from the center of the city and I would suggest staying in a hotel nearer any points of interest or avoiding the city entirely due to its narrow and congested streets.
