"Our room was clean, spacious, and had a fine view of the sea. The hosts were affable and eager to help, and the food was excellent. There is a large outdoor swimming pool nearby with a heated section that is well worth investigating."
"Pros:
- Very Clean
- Spacious Flat
- Very Smart Kitchen
- Comfortable Bedding
- Very Modern Bathroom
- Close to the town and Sea
- provided us Fresh Bread, Bacon and Better
Cons:
- This is a basement Flat and should have been listed as one
- It can get rather noisy upstairs with banging and a dog running around
- If you are afraid of Dogs, although the connecting door upstairs oppsoite the bathroom is locked, there was a few times the dog was heard near the door.

"Great location close to parking and right opposite the station. Owners are a lovely couple and super friendly. Breakfast is amazing, lots of choice but the traditional full English is one of the best I’ve had "
"This hotel is outstanding in all aspects. From the comfort of the rooms to the service and overall atmosphere, everything exceeded my expectations. What impressed me most is the cost-performance ratio – you really get a lot more than what you pay for. It’s rare to find such quality at this price. Highly recommended for anyone looking for both comfort and value."
"We spent 3 nights at this hotel. Originally we planned only 2 nights, but decided to extend, because we liked it so much, so we had a chance to try more than one rooms. The location is beautiful, the rooms looked great, the beds were comfy and the staff were super friendly and helpful."
"All the staff were wonderful and accommodating and very polite and helped with all of our requests with a smile. We didn’t eat at the hotel but we did enjoy some drinks at the bar and for a small hotel, it was well stocked! Easy to find and quiet, would happily stay again. "
"A great stay whichexceeded expectations. Lovely cabin, all new, flowers, tea, biscuits, toiletries, big TV, hot water, en suite bathroom, lovely pub garden with children playing, excellent value. . "
"Lovely place to stay for a night on the way to the Isles of Scilly. As I was on very early ferry - especially appreciated the freshly prepared takeaway breakfast. Thank you."
"Great location next to trains, and a fantastic pub/hotel with a very welcoming & friendly vibe. I wasn't expecting breakfast so this was a bonus to me! That said, rather pricey and not too good at being environmentally minded (single use plastics for soap and tiny bottles for example)."
