Thank you for leaving your review. We received your reservation for the 10th April, 2024 for the check in date 11th April, 2024. Shortly after your reservation was made you called and spoke to the security officer on duty querying your reservation. The officer advised you to call again around 11PM to speak to the night auditor on duty who can better assist you. You later called and spoke to the agent on duty, he advised you that the reservation had a check in date of the 11th of April and as such check in time starts at 3 PM. He also advised you that unfortunately, we would not have any available rooms for the 10th of April. You then queried if you can receive a refund for the reservation, to which it was explained that you will have to reach out to the third party booking agency your reservation was made through so that they can better assist you. You called the agency who advised that they would speak with us. We were contacted the next day and the charged were waived and the monies were refunded to you . We hope that you have had a wonderful time in beautiful Barbados and should you return, hope that you consider a stay at Pirate's Inn.

Towels were never changed. It would have been nice to have coffee or tea or even water complimentary in the room. After paying with Expedia: I was charged taxes when I checked out today. As per the front desk: it was local taxes and I wonder why this was not included in the fees at the start!!

Thank you for your honest review. We are a budget accommodation and as such do not offer beverages in the room. However, beverages can be purchased for as low as US 3 from our restaurant. We sorry to hear about your experience regarding the towels during your recent stay. We strive to maintain the highest standards of cleanliness and service, and it is disappointing to learn that we fell short in this instance. This matter will be thoroughly investigated with our housekeeping team. Upon check in, the front desk agent on duty notified you of the mandatory Government Levy. You stated that that you paid this already to which you were asked to provide the confirmation letter you received when you booked your reservation. The letter stated that the tax is locally collected at the hotel. Expedia also states that the tax is payable to the hotel before you book and also in the confirmation letter. We unfortunately, do not have any control over how a third party booking agency wishes to allocate their taxes and fees. We hope that you have had a wonderful stay in Barbados and wish to welcome you again in the near future.

It’s well cared for and meets all our needs
The staff are excellent and take great care of the guests
It’s located close to stores markets restaurants and beaches all in walking distance. Easy to access buses and taxis

Didn’t have any trouble getting to and from the Inn, staff were really nice and helpful, room and amenities were all clean and flattering and it was easy to get comfy. I’ll definitely return another time!

We received a very warm welcome at check in, good size room with all amenities and good size pool to relax in the garden area. Very enjoyable breakfast served up in true Barbados style, great way to start the day. Short walk across the road and stroll along the Boardwalk to the beech and short walk to the lical supermarket.Great place to stay

The staff members were very friendly. There was a few nights when the Internet was down and the breakfast bar was under construction during my stay. Sometimes there wasn't enough hot water. However, overall it has everything you need - a pool, a clean room, and your own little kitchen.

Unfreundlicher Empfang - keinerlei Erläuterung zum Zimmer. Zimmer komplett alt und abgenutzt. Küche mit Gasherd ohne Streichhölzer o.ä. für 1 Nacht maximal . Kaution musste gezahlt werden- wofür bei solcher Einrichtung? Das Hotel ist nicht empfehlenswert.

We hope that all of our guests are completely satisfied with their accommodation and experience when they leave the hotel. Upon check-in, you were notified of the refundable security deposit of US 50 which was also noted on your confirmation letter. You also queried where the hair dryer was located in the room, and the front desk agent happily showed you where the item was located. We did not receive any queries about the location of the matches, we would've happily directed you to the correct location. We hope that you have had a wonderful stay in Barbados and hope that you consider another stay with us.
The pool was a little small. A shame the bar was not functional. I was travelling alone but did not feel it as the staff were all lovely, always up for a chat and looked after me well.

I needed a base for a short stay and this apartment was ideal for my purpose. The room had all of the facilities that you would expect. It was spacious and clean. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

It is noted that our onsite restaurant is closed for renovations and as such there is currently no breakfast-inclusive rate. We are always happy to point out the restaurants and convenience stores within walking distance and cold beverages can be purchased at the front desk. We hope that you had an enjoyable stay with us and a great time in Barbados and we look forward to seeing you again in the near future.
My stay was comfortable, affordable and pleasant. Pirates Inn is located in close proximity to many restaurants, mini marts and entertainment spots as well as places of business. My only disappointment was not seeing a Christmas tree in the lobby at this time of year:-( . I would recommend this hotel to others.

There were only two things that I like about this hotel. The staff were extremely the BEST and the location of the property. The bed is soft but it’s not king size (2 mattresses put together) so it’s uncomfortable trying to sleep in the middle. AC controller didn’t work so I had to press a button on the AC to turn it on and off every time. One of the towels that is for the shower floor when you step out had blood stains on it. There was hair in the shower, and on a few of my face & body towels. Walls are thin, I heard my neighbor snoring hard the 3 nights I was there. Toilet didn’t flush properly (toilet paper wouldn’t disappear).

It’s the best black to live for short trips , I have been to Barbados 3 times and have always stayed here,no issues and just attached to mall , good food court and convinient store

Enjoyable stay
The first night was uncomfortable as the sleeping arrangements were not met, however, by the following morning that was rectified to our satisfaction. The staff was very friendly and accommodating, ensuring the guest experience was enjoyable.
