"I was very pleased with the property. The size of the rooms and house and pool were larger than I expected. Everything was clean and modern. We enjoyed the house very much. The location is walking distance to the main road where you can find bars, food, markets, and restaurants. We were there 5 days and spent about 1200B for electricity in addition which was not unexpected. The agency was very kind and helpful. Overall I was very happy and would recommend this to anyone who is interested"

"The place was cleaned and the girls Made our bed daily and changes the linen’s regularly. My husband went to the pool he used the raft and noticed a leak in the seam and he mentioned this Michael. Suddenly this was his fault and he needed to pay for it. Then Michael the owner proceeded to tell us we had to pay for the electricity. What? Never has a rental studio asked for electricity payment. "This villa is funky and unique just as the listing describes and definitely matches the pictures. The pool was great and the art work/decorations were interesting. However, on arrival we were asked to leave a passport with the owner as a deposit for the entirety of our stay, therefore one of us would have not had our passport on us whilst in the country which is not allowed for foreigners. In the listing it states that identification may be required on arrival and, which is normal when staying...

"Great house. Located in gated area very near the Main Street for easy access to shops, restaurants, massages, etc. The house was clean, spacious and it was wonderful to have our own private pool. There is even a private parking area and washing machine. It’s best to call, rather than email, to communicate. We were pleased with the rental price but there was and extra charge for electricity that we were not expecting. There were 6 in our group and we all had a great experience."

"We are on day 20 of a 30 day Asian vacation and fortunate to have the Amari for 7 of those days. Upgrade to the club level. It’s worth the extra money. The pool that is shown in the marketing is the club pool and only available if you upgrade. There are two other pools but neither of them are as nice as the club level pool. There is a happy hour every day with free food and drinks. In addition, there is a private gym and restaurant, only for club level members. The rooms are thoughtfully designed with plenty of indoor and outdoor space. Don’t worry about the buggies and getting around the property, we never waited more than a few minutes to get up and down the hill. For the money, the Amari is a home run. Luxury at the fraction of the cost in a similar property in the US. It’s a short walk in to town, or take a tuk-tuk for $6. There was always one waiting at the lobby. There are two other pools, an amazing Italian restaurant and room service was great. The people working here bend over backward to make sure everything is just right. Thank you Amari!"
