"Beautiful house! Wonderful location! Gracious host! It has everything you could ever need in a beach house! We had a group of 2 couples with our 4 adult kids (in their 20s) and it met every need we had. Would be perfect for small kids too. We loved the super easy walk to the beach, proximity to restaurants, comfy beds, and came home with a ton of beautiful shells. Highly recommend!!!"

"Amazing, quiet, clean, and, comfortable place ! We booked this little beach house because our usual rental unfortunately was destroyed in the hurricane. It was newly remodeled, very clean, and, very close to the beach on a sand swept quiet road. Parking is very convenient for unloading and loading and there was an area to rinse off sand after a beach day. It has all the necessary items needed, and the kitchen was surprisingly laid out well which made it convenient for preparing meals. All appliances are new and worked very well. The living room furniture was very comfortable and made it easy to enjoy a lazy afternoon after being on the beach. Air conditioning was comfortable throughout the house. The onsite laundry in the shed was a plus and very convenient to keep laundry from piling up.You won't find a nicer place to stay this close to the beach. I recommend this property to anyone and we will stay here again. The owner was very responsive to the one small issue I and resolved it very quickly. Thank you !"

"We loved our stay! The property was cute and well-kept. The location was perfect! The beach was so close that it was easy to return for a break in the shade on the rocking chairs on the veranda (if you choose not to use the beach umbrella that is provided and worked well, too!). When it was quiet inside, you could still hear the waves. The private beach never felt full, although there were more people there from mid-morning to late afternoon (in early June). The sunsets were beautiful! As was the moon over the ocean. I was hoping to find some nice shells and shark teeth, and I was able to do both! The outdoor shower was great for removing sand after being on the beach. We walked over to the bay a couple of mornings and sat on a bench there. The first day we saw 3 manatees up close! The pool looked beautiful, but we never used it. The grill was just behind our building, along with a nice picnic table. It worked well and allowed us to enjoy some easy meals at home. The galley kitchen could be tricky for 2 people at once, but it worked. The king bed was comfortable. The living room space was nice. We didn't use the pullout bed. The dining table is set up right in front of the window, so we could look out over the ocean for every meal! It was the perfect place for relaxing! Also, Pat was a welcoming host in all of our online communication. She was quick to answer my questions. We have never been beach people, but this changed that. We would love to come back!"

"We love Englewood beach and have been going there since 1971. Unit was clean and up to date with the times. Due to a lot of Hurricane damage to the whole area, there were parts of the outside still being repaired. Mainly cosmetic. Having a dock on the bayside and beach access are wonderful things to have. Would definitely go back and recommend to others. "

"My mom and I booked a staycation here for her 60th birthday. The house is perfectly situated where you get the beautiful views of Lemon Bay and then a quick 5-7min walk to the beach. The common areas (pool, dock, etc) were great. The suite itself was perfect for the two of us. Very clean and comfy. The host was great at communicating. Will definitely be back! "
