"The room was spotless, quiet and it is in a great location in proximity to Matlacha and Pine Island, which is where I spent my time. The best part was the communication with Stacy in the office. She made the process easy, was personable and friendly, responsive and I enjoyed meeting her and having a conversation about the area. It was very informative! Overall, an excellent choice. I travel extensively for my work, so I have points and status at multiple large hotel chains. However, Matlacha on Shoreview is exactly the type of place I like to stay when not working. It's a place I will return to again and one that I am almost reluctant to talk about because I want to keep it a secret! "

"The staff was super friendly and the breakfast was really nice. Only thing i would suggest is to have hand soap at the bathroom sink so the customer can wash hands after using the bathroom. Other than that i would give this hotel all ten stars on everything."

"The house is beautiful. My wife and I enjoyed everything about the house. It was very relaxing and even had bicycles. The location is perfect and close to everything you need. The host was very friendly , helpful, and fast at replying to our questions and needs. I would rate this house and the host higher than five stars. Everything was perfect.
