Villa Els Baladres for families with swimming pool

Villa Els Baladres is a welcoming and airy stone-built villa, with 3 bedrooms, fantastic gardens and private swimming pool. Well located close to Pollensa, Puerto Pollensa (the beach is just 4km away) and Alcudia, Villa Els Baladres offers privacy, style, modern comforts and excellent opportunities for outdoor living under the shining Mallorcan sun.

Set in the countryside between Pollensa old town and the sea this impressive house is reached via a long private gated drive lined with olive trees.
The house is beautifully light and airy. It is full of lovely natural materials - stone and wood - and has been designed with great attention to detail with neutral furniture and high-spec kitchen and bathrooms.

On the ground floor there is a lounge/dining room and fully equipped kitchen which leads you to a covered BBQ area. Near this area is an utility room with a washing machine. The covered BBQ area has also a sitting area and a door leads out to an uncovered terrace and the pool area. Doors from the lounge/dining room also lead out to the terrace. On the ground floor there is also a twin bedroom and a full bathroom.
Stairs lead to the first floor with a double bedroom and twin bedroom. These share a bathroom with a shower.

The garden is a fantastic space with beautiful views of the mountains of the Boquer Valley. The pool is surrounded by lawns, tall trees and plants and there's a covered terrace with dining furniture, seating and a brilliant outside BBQ area. Comfortable sunbeds and parasols are provided to enjoy long hours under the Mallorcan sun.

Els Baladres

The property was well maintained in a very good location, with easy access to both Pollenca and Puerto Pollenca. The pool was a good size and caught the sun all day which was very nice, the terrace provided nice shade and access to the Villa. The kitchen could use some additional cookware (baking trays and utensils).

Der Aufenthalt war im großen und ganzen sehr schön. Anwesen und Pool waren sehr gepflegt.Einzige Anmerkung ist, eventuell in den Schlafräumen, an den Fenstern Insektenschutzgitter anbringen lassen.Da wir im Herbst (Oktober) gebucht hatten,waren sehr viele Mücken vor Ort. In den Sommermonaten,vielleicht noch zwei Sonnenschirme zu verfügung stellen.Wir würden die Villa auf jeden Fall wieder mieten.Sehr zu empfehlen.

Toller Familienaufenthalt

Wunderschönes Haus im lokalen Stil. Die Inneneinrichtung harmoniert super mit dem Gebäude. Innen und außen Top gepflegt!!! Die Außenanlage mit dem alten Olivenbaum und den vielen Natur-Felsen ist sehr anschaulich gestaltet. Wir verbrachten deshalb auch die meiste Zeit draußen auf den Terrassen oder am/im Pool. Das riesige Grundstück und die Umgebung sorgen dafür, dass man sich sehr ungestört und zurückgezogen fühlt. Wir reisten zusammen mit den Großeltern und unseren beiden Kindern. Das Haus bietet dafür ausreichend Platz und wir fühlten uns rund um wohl. Rund um das Haus hat meinen einen tollen Blick auf Hügel und Berge. Die Klimatisierten Zimmer waren in der Nacht eine Wohltat, auch da wir durch die vielen Stechmücken die Nachts Fenster nicht geöffnet lassen konnten. Probleme am Haus wurden noch am selben Tag vom Hausmeister beseitigt! Am besten gefiel mir, die Sonne vom Pool aus zu beobachten, wie sie am Abend hinter der Tramuntana verschwindet. Eine minimale Grundausstattung an Dingen des täglichen Bedarfs wäre zur Anreise toll gewesen, z.B. Seife, Klopapier, Müllsäcke, Spülschwämme usw. Die Küchenmesser müssten dringend mal zum Nachschleifen und den Wäscheständer hält nur noch das pure Glück zusammen. Mehr Schatten im Pool-Bereich wäre echt super. Mit unserem Kleinkindern, die noch nicht so lange in der Sonnen sein dürfen, mussten wir dann immer zurück zur Terasse. Ein Sonnensegel, welches noch ein Teil des Pools überschattet, wäre super. Der Grillrost ist zu klein und man muss improvisieren, damit er nicht in Kohle fällt. Auch eine Rostbürste wäre wünschenswert. Sonnenschirme und Klappstühle für Strandausflüge haben wir vermisst. Beide Kinderbetten waren an unterschiedlichen Stellen defekt bzw. gebrochen, aber sie haben ihre Funktion erfüllen können.

Loved everything about this villa, the only downside was we wished we had stayed longer!
