Amazing Hotel. Very central.

Posted 21-May-2017
Pros: Central location, friendly, helpful staff, clean modern room and outdoor courtyard for breakfast.
Cons: We like the Hotel just as it is.
Location: Coastal walks, plenty of good restaurants, central location, quality shops.
All Staff extremely friendly and helpful, particularly Victor, our breakfast waiter for whom nothing was ever too much trouble. Lovely, spotlessly clean, modern bedroom. Beautiful, peaceful outdoor enclosed courtyard used for those who wish to eat outside.

Little Gem tucked away.

Posted 27-Feb-2017
Pros: We love traditional old hotels so a perfect choice for us. Location is fabulous right in the heart of the old town near the cathedral.
Cons: Shelf in shower to put toiletries on.
Location: Fabulous location 5 minute walk to the cathedral and 10 minutes to the port. Designer shopping close by plus lots of places of interest.
Lovely quaint hotel that was originally an old palace, lots of original features . A very grand reception and staircase. We had a large double room with a very spacious bathroom which was light and very clean as was the bedroom. Very comfortable bed with Chrisp white linen and luxurious towels and a range of toiletries in the bathroom. Free Wifi worked well and lots of information at reception. Breakfast is buffet continental style and if you prefer you can eat in the very pretty courtyard . A very good range of food and drinks at the buffet bar, fresh bread, sweet cakes , fresh and tinned fruit. Cheeses, cereal, yogurts, hard boiled eggs, meats. Something for everyone and even a bottle of Cava in an ice bucket !

Nice, comfortable, convenient

Posted 01-Oct-2016 on Hotels
If you are a fan of the Paradores (of which there are none on the island of Mallorca), this is a good substitute. Quiet side street in the very heart of Palma. Nice, helpful staff. Fine breakfast, which can be eaten in a very nice interior courtyard. The decor is a little dated, but so is that of the Paradores! Very "Spanish" feeling (an old palace, I believe), not one of the tacky resort-type places. Would definitely stay again.

Well located, clean hotel

Palma is a lovely city, with lots to see and do. The Hotel Born is really well located and is a comfortable, reasonably priced option. The inner courtyard where breakfast is served is an added bonus.
