The best area to stay in Malcocinado is the village centre, particularly around the Plaza de la Constitución.

This central area is the heart of Malcocinado, where you'll find the most amenities and a friendly setting. The Plaza de la Constitución is a charming focal point, often bustling with locals, and it's surrounded by the village's main church, local shops, and traditional eateries. The streets branching off the plaza are narrow and winding, great for a leisurely stroll.

Couples looking for a relaxing and authentic Spanish experience will find the village centre ideal. You're within easy walking distance of everything Malcocinado offers, including local bars for tapas and the scenic viewpoints overlooking the surrounding countryside. It's a great base for enjoying the local culture at a relaxed pace.

For those seeking a bit more seclusion while still being close to the action, properties just on the outskirts of the village centre often provide more space and privacy.

The best time to go to Malcocinado is during the spring (April to June) and autumn (September to October) months.

During these periods, the weather is pleasantly warm, with average temperatures ranging from 20°C to 28°C, making it ideal for exploring the natural beauty of the region and enjoying outdoor activities. You'll find fewer crowds compared to the peak summer months, allowing for a more relaxed experience.

Summer (July and August) can be quite hot, often exceeding 35°C, which might be less comfortable for those who prefer cooler temperatures. However, if you enjoy very warm weather and are planning to spend time by the pool or enjoying the local siesta culture, summer can still be a good option.

Winter (November to March) is generally mild, with temperatures between 10°C and 18°C, but it can be rainier.
