People of all ages can take a beginner’s class at this popular surf school, or choose to brush up on their existing surfing, windsurfing or kitesurfing skills.

Take the opportunity to learn a new skill or improve on your technique at this surf school in the pretty historic town of Conil de la Frontera. The team of qualified teachers offers classes and one-on-one lessons for people of all ages and levels of ability. Book a one-off lesson or an ongoing course in surfing, windsurfing or kitesurfing and prepare for the exhilaration of taking to the waves in a beautiful place.

The surf school’s lessons are held at Conil de la Frontera’s beach as well as the El Palmar beach, located a little further along the coast. Both beaches have beautiful, soft golden sand and blue waters. The weather conditions are ideal for a variety of different types of surfing.

After your lesson, take the time to relax on the beach or to explore the lovely historic center of Conil de la Frontera. Known for its stunning white houses and quaint winding lanes, this popular tourist spot looks like it was designed to appear on postcards. Wander peaceful streets where flowers spill out of window boxes. Stop for a drink or a bite to eat at a café with outdoor seating. Visit the historic Torre de Guzmán (Tower of Guzmán) and the fascinating Museo Raíces Conileñas (Museum of Conileña Roots).

In between surfing classes, you may want to explore some of the other beaches within the vicinity too. Follow the coast northwest by car and you will reach upscale Fuente del Gallo, with its elegant clifftop bars. Further along is Cala Melchor, a secluded nudist cove. Cala del Aceite is a larger and more popular beach, with a campsite close by. And if you continue to the west you will reach the Puerto de Conil (Port of Conil) and the scenic Faro de Cabo Roche (Roche Lighthouse).

Book your lesson at Trafalgar Surf in advance to be sure of getting a time that suits you. Stay in one of the many accommodations available in Conil de la Frontera and you will be in walking distance of the school, located on the coast.
