Only thing I would recommend is that you hire a car as it's a drive to go anywhere else unless you get a water taxi to Ortigia (50Euros for 2 each way). Very helpful staff ..."

Small beaches in walking distance. 4 or 5 decent restaurants 5-10 min walk. 15 min drive to Ortigia - would advise hiring a car if you want to travel about.
