"We had a wonderful stay and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. Given the age of the building and heritage listing, it is beautifully maintained and provide a peaceful setting to relax and explore. We stayed in the room with a patio overlooking a garden, which made for a lovely outlook. While the room wasn't particularly large, it was clean, comfortable, and well suited to our short stay.
This is a simple, no-frills property with basic amenities, but it delivered exactly what we were expecting. The breakfast was a real highlight, offering a generous continental buffet along with freshly cooked hot breakfast options available to order. It was an excellent way to start each day.
For international travellers, it's worth noting that air conditioning isn't a standard feature in many UK hotels, so it's always worth checking before booking if this is important to you. Similarly, bar fridges are not commonly provided in UK hotel rooms, so don't assume one will be available.
