"Nice room/en-suite shower in a clean, well kept tea rooms conveniently located to explore the Forest of Dean and Chepstow. Short walk on the main road to either of the two village pubs not for the faint hearted but short drive to Chepstow restaurants and hostelries. Staff very friendly and lovely breakfast."

"Good communication from hosts and parking is easy. The photo's of the property don't do it just as its bigger than it looks, ideal for 2 people. Good location and good friendly pub 2 minutes walk away with good food and drink.Would highly recommend and would stay again if in this area."

"The Nook, fabulous Shepherds Hut on a working farm, Bolthole Retreats have created a wonderful place to come and chill out in the hot tub whilst looking over the estuary. The hut is outfitted to a very high standard, was spotlessly clean when we got there and we were left to it but our hosts were there for us if we needed. The Wallhope ice cream parlour is a must and next time we will sample the farm reared beef, sausages and burgers as they looked delicious. Will definitely be coming back but probably in the winter so we can do the hot tub and light the wood burner! definitely would highly recommend!"
