Frequently asked questions

What is the nightly rate for a Bed and Breakfast in Luxor?
Prices for B&Bs in Luxor often vary, but you can find a great deal from £28 with Expedia. All sorts of factors affect price, such as location and the time of year. It usually costs more to stay at Luxor B&Bs over the weekend too. Travelers can find the best deals by being flexible with their dates, and by using our filters to sort prices from low to high.
Are there any family-friendly Bed & Breakfasts in Luxor?

This welcoming property not only offers ample space for families to relax but also features a fully equipped kitchen, making it easy to prepare meals together. With a focus on creating memorable experiences, the flat allows for events like birthday parties and family gatherings, ensuring that your stay can be as festive and personalized as you desire.
When is the best time to book a B&B in Luxor?
The most popular time to visit Luxor is from December to February, coinciding with the peak tourist season. During these months, the weather is pleasantly mild, with daytime temperatures averaging around 20-25°C, making it ideal for exploring the ancient wonders of the city, such as the Valley of the Kings and the magnificent temples of Karnak and Luxor.

The allure of this season lies not only in the comfortable climate but also in the vibrant atmosphere as tourists flock to the area. You can expect bustling markets, lively tours, and the opportunity to connect with fellow travellers who share your passion for history and culture. The pleasant evenings are superb for dining al fresco, allowing you to savour local cuisine while soaking in the views of the Nile.

If you're looking for more affordable options, consider visiting in May, when the crowds begin to thin out and accommodation prices often drop. This month still offers warm weather, with temperatures rising to the mid-30s Celsius, and you can enjoy a more relaxed pace as you wander through the temples and tombs without the hustle and bustle of peak season.
What is the difference between a Luxor Bed and Breakfast and a hotel?
Every Luxor B&B has its own unique feel. Travelers can look forward to personal touches, thoughtful amenities and of course a scrumptious breakfast at Luxor B&Bs.
