Once, The Shack was known as everyone's favorite burger joint, owned by Cotton & Jenny Lewis. Now, it's a cozy place to relax. We shortened the name, but to us it will always be The Shack at Cotton & Jenny's. Whether you're just passing through or staying a few days, The Shack is sure to provide a comfortable stay. Being just minutes from multiple boat ramps and 4 lakes, The Shack is perfect for hunters and fishermen. There is plenty of parking for boats and trailers, as well as water and power available outside. It's also just 3 minutes from the beautiful event venue, Heyward Manor! This Shack boasts 1 inviting bedroom with a queen bed. The living room features a sofa bed for extra guests. Enjoy the soothing ambiance of this cozy retreat, complete with AC, WiFi, and a washer/dryer. Make your trip one for the books with a stay at our place.

The Shack... A simple living fisherman's get-a-way spot I will be revisiting!

I had an opportunity to come to Lake Russell for a fishing tournament and a well needed vacation and needed a place to stay and found "The Shack". My whole experience was wonderful. From booking, to communication with the owner and everything in between was excellent. This place looks to be newly built. Super clean, modern yet woodsy, and has everything you really need to get by for a fisherman's stay wrapped up in a small package! A perfect place for 1 to 3 people. Shower, heat, a/c, cloths washer/dryer kitchen with everything needed to make meals and A very comfortable bed. What more do you really need? Boat landings are close for lake access and its rural... Love it! There are some towns near for one to get groceries and fuel. Does have WIFI that works and a tv also. If I have this event next year I will be rebooking. Check it out!
