This is a 5 Star resort! It was wonderful, the staff were great and the food was top notch for an all inclusive. Definitely get the all inclusive because pricing in general was high. The only downside was that they are building a hotel right across from the resort and it is a bit noisy and the beautiful views will be blocked soon.

The rooms were very nice and clean. And cooled down from the heat. The staff was very nice and always attentive, the valets were amazing and its nice of them to shuttle you around if you dont want to walk from place to place on the resort, its a big resort. We enjoyed the walking and the exercise as we werent there to be lazy like some, food and drinks were great all over the property. We will be coming back for sure.

Our stay at Hacienda Encantada was incredible. The property is gorgeous. Our first morning, we went to the breakfast restaurant where the staff seated us near edge of the balcony in hopes that we may get to see some whales in the water below. Sure enough, as we were enjoying our breakfast we spotted several whales breaching the water. My kids' jaws just about hit the floor

This resort exceeded all expectations, we couldnt believe how excellent the food was, the breakfast buffet is incredible, made to order omelets and everything in between! Pool bar and poolside service was stellar, you sit down in the pool area and a server immediately comes up to you and brings you anything you want and its all excellent! All of the restaurants have different offerings and each one is better than the last! You walk out of your ocean view suite and theres a driver right there to take you wherever you want, resort is huge so this was extremely helpful. From the moment you pull up until the moment you leave you are pampered! The staff is proud of what they do and are truly dedicated to their jobs and what the property is all about. Go there, dont hesitate to book, you wont be disappointed, make sure you go all inclusive!

The vegetation/flowers/hedges were beautiful and professionally maintained. The buildings of the resort were walkable but we greatly appreciated the golf cart service which was quick and frequent. I stayed at Hacienda Encantanda from May 17th through June 2nd 2026. Rosa in housekeeping was amazing, I appreciated Alex at the Il Forno bar. Ma t of the staff such as Carlos at the Tienda gave me great joy as did the bell staff who would kindly provide cambio when the front desk did not have change. More from a curiosity side I didn’t understand when a servicio charge (which was explained to me as a group propina) would appear on a bill (98%of the time I ate solo). I also was confused that some days I was called from my room to extend my stay in person and other days there was no need. Also, the keys no longer worked after N extension even when I was asked to come up and bring my credit card probably to increase for incidentals or the government tax? I was Also perplexed by the different charges for the taxis driving me to Cabo when O missed the shuttle or wanted more freedom. The cost seemed to change when the driver saw that I had more cash and the cost went up. On June the 2nd I became so unnerved that I left and stayed at another resort. I did call management thinking that they had an agreement with the taxi union and I was corrected by the manager on duty. How much I pay the cabs that are contractually tied to the resort was between me and the taxi and the resort does not interfere with fluctuating rates as the taxis have no agreement with the resort.

The hotel itself is beautiful and the views are absolutely amazing. The location and scenery make it a really special place, and we truly enjoyed that part of the stay. Unfortunately, the service did not match the quality of the hotel. The attention from the receptionists, Blanca and Paulina, was not pleasant and felt unhelpful. In addition, the service from Juan at the pool was also disappointing and unprofessional. To make matters worse, when I had already left the property, they contacted me and asked me to come back to pick up my deposit because they had made a mistake. It was inconvenient and poorly handled. Because of the poor service we experienced, I would not return to this hotel and I cannot recommend it to others. The property itself is beautiful, but the reception service was honestly the worst part of the experience and completely ruined what could have been a great stay.

The property has a lot of activities for adults and kids. The kid pool is amazing, I will add adult chairs and lounges in the kids area because moms would love you have their kids runing while they rest. Property is super well staffed, the food is ok and the location is amazing.

Beautiful resort. Expect to be upselled on the property to join the VIP membership and the activities packages. Food on the resort was good but pricey. They do not allow Ubers or Lyfts on the property. Expect to pay for taxis and shuttle services

Stay two nights at Hacienda Encantada Resort & Residences. The views from room are beautiful. The room decoration is distinctive. Restaurant food is delicious. Just a bit limited options for the breakfast.

Juan at the breakfast restaurant was soo sweet! Gabrielle drove us around and gave us a tour very nice ! Omar our pool waiter was very kind and hard working !! The staff here is amazing ! I will be back

All the staff was attentive, helpful and so kind. Our room was very quiet, clean and close to the ocean with an amazing view! The restaurants served food that was well prepared. The only drawback,(for us), was there was no “live” music to dance. Lack of night life activity made it boring after a late dinner.

couldn’t check into our room in 4:00pm. timeshare sales people are very aggressive. Stingy with bottled water, restock took more effort than it should have. furniture was nice, but bedding was not, old and used up, needs to be replaced with new and fresh. dress code at Mestizo is gender bias, open toes not allowed on men. most of staff is awesome! Bilingual conversations on the house phones seemed to be an issue though. Can’t really explain that one. Food was fine, average. Some select plates were exceptional! Birds were a problem if you left your patio table unattended, mainly at breakfast buffet if you made trips back and forth without cleaning your plate, lol. The property is absolutely gorgeous! Concrete cart paths and sidewalks, beautiful gardens and flower beds! fine art was even displayed throughout during our stay, as there was an art walk in progress, very nice!! the site is built on a hill, so it is sometimes a hike if you like to walk everywhere. Cart drivers were usually close to give you a ride if you aren’t feeling the hike. I saw two wedding venue spots that were also quite stunning, a high cliff flat, and the chapel on the hill, incredible vistas! All and all not a bad spot, would probably return.

This was our first time doing all inclusive for our honeymoon. We arrived and were checked in by Jasmine who was polite and professional, the only thing we lacked was an explanation of how the all inclusive worked in terms of signing out in restaurants etc. We checked into our room and were underwhelmed unfortunately. We booked a junior suite with ocean view, and we were placed on a ground floor junior suite, which you could see the ocean but it faced the pool so people could walk a foot away from us. Not ideal, then the toilet in our room was leaking, the smell was so bad so we requested to change rooms. The only room available was another ground floor in a different building with no ocean view. Again not ideal as we paid for ocean view so this was disappointing but at least the plumbing worked. Overall the property was nice, the view from the pool is beautiful and the majority of staff were excellent. I was just a little upset about the room situation since it was our honeymoon and we wanted it to feel special. It was just average. The food for the all inclusive was not great, very bland and the mixed drinks were not good. I don't want to be very negative about this property since the staff were so nice but the rooms definitely need an upgrade and the food and drinks were just not great quality (maybe this is normal for all inclusive). I probably would not stay here again and spend the extra money on an all inclusive where you can enjoy better quality food and drinks.
