Excellent place to stay for 1-3 nights. Clean plenty of room and having a small kitchen area was great. Unfortunately the pub next door was shut on a Tuesday so need to revisit on a working day to samples the food.

This hotel is full of character. The floors have original timber floorboards and even have an authentic’creak’ when you walk over them. If you like ‘olde worlde’ places you’ll like staying at the Mansion House. The staff were extremely friendly and polite which really made my stay enjoyable. I stayed over Christmas so there was only a skeleton staff but I had everything I needed and was always warm and comfortable.

We had a 'superior' room/apartment, and it really was superior. An entrance hall, bedroom plus ensuite bathroom, AND a large sitting room/kitchen. Fantastic. And not noisy despite overlooking Saturday Market Place and being at one end of the High Street. Parking is available, in Saturday Market Place, and not cheap, but go a little further afield and find a long term parking car park and cost is reduced. We ariived late in the evening for a weekend break and were welcomed by Dave who showed us to our luxury bungalow. In the bungalow Denise had prepared us a grocery pack which we made full use of with arriving so late. My elderly mum was with us and Dave and Denise really did go above and beyond spoiling us. Great location and older property , but special

I was very pleased with everything generally. The staff were excellent & nothing was too much trouble. The tv in my room wasn`t working, but it was fixed very quickly whilst we were dining & the staff member went out of their way to find me to say he had fixed it.

I needed a overnight stopover on route to Peterborough, so research i did, i located this hidden gem. After making the reservation i received a welcome email with relevant info regarding my proposed visit, a very nice touch i thought, I was greeted on the day by Beverley who is so lovely, she shown me my room and explained the various details as one required, the room was spacious and very tastefully decorated, I was greeted by double bed with clean linen and very soft and cosy mattress, flat...

As mentioned above, I was met by Dawn with a smile, who made me feel very welcome. The service and food were also good. Breakfast was well presented and the checkout staff were also very pleasant and efficient. Generally, a very pleasant stay... I will stay again when I am in the area on business. Well done to all.

Lovely small quete place to stay there's no places to eat but less then a mile away at least three pubs with food and a Tesco lots of fish to catch if you are into that . Can't wait to go back

Lovely place.

This is a great location for exploring Norfolk. We were only there one night but it was peaceful and accommodated all 3 of us with our dog. The owner was excellent with her communication but not at all intrusive. Nice touches like our own private garden with a BBQ where they kindly left some coals so we had the option to use it.
