"The hotel was nice, modern and the pool, restaurants and bars are pretty good. Entertainment staff worked hard, as do the housekeeping staff, good variety of food and drinks. There seems to be a lack of toilets though... for either of the pools, Breeze bar or Pala Santo restaurant, you need to go into the hotel itself and there is one set of toilets for the entire downstairs area, day and night."

"A lovely stay. Bungalow 1063 is really nice. I marked it down a little as the terrace door wouldn't lock and the main light in the living area flickered a lot. I did report these faults. I was told someone would be round to fix them within 20 mins. After an hour I rang reception to chase this up and then 5 mins later someone came to fix the issues. Beautiful sunrises from the terrace! Very spacious bungalow. I slept very well. Staff at reception were okay. I don't feel they went out their way to...

I was told someone would be round to fix them within 20 mins. After an hour I rang reception to chase this up and then 5 mins later someone came to fix the issues. Beautiful sunrises from the terrace! Very spacious bungalow. I slept very well. Staff at reception were okay. I don't feel they went out their way to welcome me. I had to ask for directions to the pool, ask about payments at bars etc (I was self catering). Nothing was really forthcoming coming. The map to find my bungalow was very clear. Maintenance work was going on by the pool when I was there so opted to sunbathe at the beach instead. Access to the beach is great. Sangria at the pool bar is ok, no food snacks offered which was disappointing. La Perlita on the beach is fabulous."

Eurostars Las Salinas

"So the facilities (breakfast, pool, access to beach etc) are all really good. Staff were excellent, as was the evening entertainment. The place does look good on the surface, but then you see it needs some TLC: pool ladders need fixing, elevators got stuck, sink plug lets water through, towel hooks spin around, finishing in disrepair etc. But on the whole it’s okay, and the location is very good w.r.t. local shops, bars restaurants etc. And for an extra €30/€50 they can extend check-out to 3.00 or 5.00 PM."

Coral Cotillo Beach

8/10 Good

"Clean hotel, well maintained. Staff were helpful and the room was cleaned everyday. The food (breakfast and dinner) was very good, much better than expected! Will definitely stay again. My only issue were the mosquitos in the room at night. Finally realised they were coming in through the gap at bottom of the door."

Frequently asked questions

What is the best area to stay in Llanos De La Concepcion?

The best area to stay in Llanos De La Concepcion is within the village itself, particularly around the central plaza and the main road, Calle de la Concepción.

This small, inland village offers a peaceful retreat from the busier coastal areas. It's characterised by traditional Canarian architecture, with whitewashed houses and narrow, winding streets. The heart of the village is the charming plaza, often a gathering spot for locals, and the nearby church is a top landmark.

For couples seeking a quiet, authentic Canarian experience, staying in Llanos De La Concepcion is ideal. You'll find a selection of beautifully restored rural houses and boutique accommodations, often with private terraces superb for enjoying the views or a glass of local wine. It's a fantastic base for exploring the island's interior, hiking trails, and enjoying the local cuisine at the village's few tavernas.

Families looking for a relaxed holiday away from the crowds will also appreciate Llanos De La Concepcion. Many accommodations offer more space, often with gardens or courtyards, providing a comfortable setting for children.

When is the best time to go to Llanos De La Concepcion?

The best time to go to Llanos De La Concepcion is during the shoulder seasons of spring (April to May) and autumn (September to October).

These months offer pleasant weather with comfortable temperatures, typically ranging from 20 to 25 degrees Celsius, making it ideal for outdoor activities like hiking and exploring the island's natural beauty. You'll also find fewer crowds compared to the peak summer months, which means a more relaxed experience and often better value on accommodation and flights.

For those planning a romantic getaway, visiting in May or September is particularly appealing. The island is lush, and the warm evenings are superb for enjoying al fresco dining or a quiet stroll. The slightly cooler temperatures are also great for exploring the nearby historic sites and volcanic landscapes without the intense summer heat.

If you're a couple looking for an active holiday, the spring and autumn months are also excellent. The conditions are superb for exploring the walking trails of the Betancuria Rural Park or visiting the Mirador de Morro Velosa, which offers panoramic views of the island.
