"This hotel is a right little gem in the heart of Barmouth. It’s such an easy review as everything was perfect and I would come back to Barmouth just to stay here. Staff so pleasant and welcoming and the room was wanting for nothing. We didn’t eat here but that’s something to look forward to next time. "

"We have just had the most wonderful stay at Gwynfa. It really felt like a home from home; it was clean, comfortable and extremely well equipped. The house itself is beautiful, with plenty of space; it housed 8 adults, 1 teen, 3 children and a baby perfectly. The location is perfect and meant that aside from the odd car journey, we could park up and walk to everything easily; plenty of eateries, beaches and shops within a few minutes walk. Communication was fast and friendly. We are already looking at re-booking for next year and would happily return over and over again. Thank you Virginia for a perfect family getaway."

"Amazing hosts! After a devastating flood (believed to be caused by a guest) this place has had a complete makeover in the dining room ready for re-opening of the restaurant. We were allowed to use it for our takeaway tea with amazing views over the bay. There is a cafe 50 metres away offering breakfast from 8am if you need it. The rooms were of a great size and whilst needing some modernisation, had everything you need and were very comfortable. Highly recommended."
