"What a wholesome, lovely stay. Steve and George we absolutely amazing from start to finish - extremely friendly, funny and helpful. The property was absolutely spotless, room was lovely and the food was incredible (would recommend the lamb shank - delicious!) This is a small niche b/b hotel. Everything about it is excellent, the difference is the breakfast which is provided in your room via a small but fully functional kitchenette. This hotel was a lovely surprise, highly recommended.

Very clean, newly refurbished pub in a good location with interesting artistic decorations by local artist who owns the property. Good base to explore this part of the Wales/England border. Comfortable room and excellent breakfast. We ate at the pub both nights and evening meal was also very good. Lovely staff. Parking seemed to be no problem, either in pub's very small car park or on roads in village.
