Nestled in wooded hills to the south of the town, Llandrindod Lake Park is a jewel in the country landscape. The manmade lake here was originally created as a boating attraction during Llandrindod Wells’ hey-day as a Victorian spa town. Today, it’s a popular spot for anglers and model boaters. It also has a fabulous little café where you can grab a bite while looking over the copper serpent sculpture that emerges from the lake.
