Dog
friendly and excellent value. We stayed in the small double room. It was cosy and comfy and had everything we needed. The room itself could do with a bit of updating, but it was as expected for the price. The bathroom is new and pristine. Would stay again."

A cosy studio apartment in an idylic location on the banks of the river Tweed

10.0 out of 10, Exceptional, (134)
"This cozy place is a gem. Perfectly located with a view over the River Tweed, the helpful instructions from the owner ensured that we easily found the cottage. Once inside, there were so many little personal touches that really made our very short stay so special. Everything that one could want for a short or longer stay was to hand. It was spotlessly clean. There were plenty of eating places in the area, a nice pub at the top of the road and everyone was very friendly. We travelled with our 2...

The Village Inn

2.5 star property
7.6 out of 10, Good, (30)
"Lovely little hotel, great host, very friendly, clean and comfortable room, we chose this hotel because it was
Pet Friendly
and it didn’t disappoint, the only negative is no evening meals, but you can drive into Lanark 4 miles away where there’s a great choice, there’s also a small supermarket opposite. Apart from that we had a great stay and would definitely use again"

Peebles Hydro Hotel

4.0 star property
8.2 out of 10, Very good, (632)
"We enjoyed the hotel social areas and the
dog
friendly atmosphere. We liked the pool but it is small for the size of hotel. Our room was fine but it was disappointing to have a large stain on the carpet, a huge chip on the sink and badly damaged bath end panel. Breakfast was great! I would bring grandchildren here though as it would be good for them +
dogs

The Park Hotel Peebles

3.0 star property

"Fairly old building and rather dated. Room over the main entrance so disturbed one night by a very noisy drunk unable to get in after hours. Restaurant good with a nice garden. Electric car charger,

The Horseshoe Inn

4.0 star property
9.4 out of 10, Exceptional, (99)
"Pleasant old style Inn with accommodation in separate building. The bedroom had very comfortable bed with fluffy pillows. The bathroom was a bit cramped and had a very noisy extractor fan. There was no provision to dry towels as radiator was off, I guess during summer months and a lamp was not working over the shower. We stayed two nights and enjoyed both evening meals which were very good. The noisy fan was mentioned to the staff. "

Comfortable town pad with a river view

10.0 out of 10, Exceptional, (84)
"This is a lovely wee flat which is beautifully decorated and clean and tidy, just round the corner from the main street. We took our
dog
and there are gorgeous walks on the doorstep and lots of
dog
friendly pubs to enjoy a drink and meal. Peebles is a lovely town and the flat had a wonderful view of the river - I would definitely recommend a stay here."
