Booked for one night to attend a family wedding, check in via the bar, lady came straight out and explained that all the rooms were full, so as we were a family had upgraded us to Hannah House, a complete massive cottage to the three of us, It was beautiful and we could have slept 11 people in it, so rustic and full of charm lovely and peacefully we were so impressed. Complimentary breakfast was included with our booking, a fully English using locally sources ingredients, the chef who also took...

Beautifully refurbished rooms, very friendly staff, and great food. Some noise from the bar/garden - as you would expect from an Inn - but very quiet after closing time, with a very comfy bed. Great value.

One of those rare finds that you almost want to keep to yourself so you can always get a room.. :-) We booked only 3 hours before our 2 night stay so options were limited and we were a bit worried we'd be left with what no-one else wanted. It turned out fantastically though. The Motel is brand new, spacious, clean, warm, and the TV had all the usual smart apps so we could watch practically whatever we wanted. We had dinner and breakfast in the almost attached George and Dragon pub and although...

Very friendly staff , gorgeous room with huge comfy bed! Mineral water ,luxury soap etc and hot chocolate for the kids!! Lovely breakfast and wonderful service ! The best thing was our little dog was welcome too in the hotel and the pub. Great location as it makes a nice stop when visiting center parcs especially if your bringing your doggy friend ! Amazing stay. Staff couldn't have been friendlier or more helpful. Often hotels state pet friendly, but these guys added some really nice useful touches, to make us all welcome. Beautiful property in a great location.

Excellent from the start.
Breakfast was a full English and i mean FULL.my hubby really enjoyed it. There was a wide choice of alternatives otherwise
The evening meals made it hard to choose, never seen a sirloin steak large and cooked to perfection, it was delicious,
All the staff were very helpful and cheerful. Top marks to the chef and Sue who made it a nice place to be. Hope to return for a longer stay soon.

If you are looking for an authentic British inn in the modern style look no further. Great village location, superb food, great beer, beautiful rooms, friendly staff and a 'real breakfast'. Intrigued ..go there.

The staff were really friendly and approachable. The meal I had was one of the best I've had in a long while.
The room was really clean with a Nespresso coffee machine which for me was a really nice touch as I love my coffee.
The shower was lovely and hot.
I will definitely be booking there again and I can not recommend it enough.
Lovely bar with a nice atmosphere.
I was solo travelling and the staff were more than happy to chat while I enjoyed my drink at the bar.
I didn't have the breakfast as...

I was looking for a one night stay close to Diss for the 2017 Organ Festival. I searched on proximity and price and Hazel Barn met my requirements. For a bed and breakfast Hazel Barn far exceeded my expectations. The owners are very welcoming and friendly and the breakfast provided was absolutely superb. Nice room with en-suite and access to a fridge in communal kitchen area serving the 3 guest suites. It is nice to have fresh milk for your early morning tea rather than the long life little pots...

This was the perfect place to stay for a special event at nearby Wymondham College.
I was warmly (well, it was during the heatwave!) and cheerfully greeted by Tracey.
My room was clean, well-prepared and provided me with all the facilities I required.
It was extremely competitively priced.
My thanks to the staff concerned for their part in a really memorable weekend.

When is the best time to go to Little Cressingham?
The best time to go to Little Cressingham is during the late spring and summer months, from May to September, to fully enjoy the natural beauty and outdoor activities the area offers.
During this period, the weather is generally warmer and drier, making it ideal for exploring the Norfolk countryside, walking along the Peddars Way, or visiting nearby attractions like the Gressenhall Farm and Workhouse. The longer daylight hours also allow for more extensive sightseeing and leisurely evenings.
Couples looking for a relaxing escape will find these months particularly appealing. You can enjoy picnics by the River Gihon, explore the local footpaths hand-in-hand, or visit the many charming pubs and tea rooms in the surrounding villages without the chill of winter.
Families also benefit from visiting in the summer. The pleasant weather makes it easier to keep children entertained outdoors, whether it's cycling along quiet country lanes or exploring the wide-open spaces of the Breckland region.
