Simply stunning. Beautiful place to relax and unwind. A real luxury feel. Would definitely recommend.

Beautifully refurbished rooms, very friendly staff, and great food. Some noise from the bar/garden - as you would expect from an Inn - but very quiet after closing time, with a very comfy bed. Great value.

I was looking for a one night stay close to Diss for the 2017 Organ Festival. I searched on proximity and price and Hazel Barn met my requirements. For a bed and breakfast Hazel Barn far exceeded my expectations. The owners are very welcoming and friendly and the breakfast provided was absolutely superb. Nice room with en-suite and access to a fridge in communal kitchen area serving the 3 guest suites. It is nice to have fresh milk for your early morning tea rather than the long life little pots...

Lovely clean, quiet, very relaxing. Excellent service and delicious food.

We had a great stay, with everything we needed. Exceeded expectations and will certainly book again if in the area. Very convenient with on site parking and an easy walk into the city centre.

We cannot think of any significant shortcomings about this hotel and enjoyed our four night break

One of those rare finds that you almost want to keep to yourself so you can always get a room.. :-) We booked only 3 hours before our 2 night stay so options were limited and we were a bit worried we'd be left with what no-one else wanted. Charming, centuries old country pub with not a straight beam in the place. Our room was large, characterful, spotless and comfortable. Decent pub grub delivered with especially warm and friendly service.

The room was huge and bed very comfortable, and the pub itself had great food. Really nice breakfast too. You can go for nice walks from the door too.

Very friendly staff , gorgeous room with huge comfy bed! Mineral water ,luxury soap etc and hot chocolate for the kids!! Lovely breakfast and wonderful service ! The best thing was our little dog was welcome too in the hotel and the pub. Great location as it makes a nice stop when visiting center parcs especially if your bringing your doggy friend ! If you are looking for an authentic British inn in the modern style look no further. Great village location, superb food, great beer, beautiful rooms, friendly staff and a 'real breakfast'. Intrigued ..go there.

We loved our stay in the Abbey Hotel and apartments, the staff, breakfast & attention to detail were amazing. Very easy walk into the town centre with its unique shops, pubs & restaurants, also not forgetting the Cathedral & Abbey Gardens. Bury St Edmunds is a must to visit.

The staff were really friendly and approachable. The meal I had was one of the best I've had in a long while. The room was really clean with a Nespresso coffee machine which for me was a really nice touch as I love my coffee. The shower was lovely and hot. Such a lovely place to stay for my friends wedding, staff were so friendly and accommodation allowing me to check in early so I could get ready. Room was comfy and clean and breakfast was delicious and such a good portion! Would 100% recommend.
