"Beds were uncomfortable. Pillows were too hard. Breakfast was a first - scrambled eggs take it or leave it was the reply from chef !"

"Premier inn without the purple. Disappointed given the 4 star rating. Nothing in the room stood out. Award for the world’s worst door stop in the bathroom placed right in front of the toilet ensuring everyone leaves with a broken toe. Single bed which is not child friendly which you almost need a step ladder to reach as a child. Toilets in bar area not clean at all. Bar ran out of multiple drinks over the weekend. Not family friendly in the evening. Noisy overnight whether it be people or bin men or other staff work outside (we had inside room allocated). Check in slow although we got lucky based on queues on other days. Couldn’t get our room cleaned one day so at 4pm had to ask for clean towels. Location great but that the only positive really. Expected much more from a 4 star hotel."

"Shower basin was dirty, sofa bed although made up as a double had a single duvet cover in a double sheet. We requested this be changed at 10am and it still wasnt done at 10pm. Had to phone reception a second time to rectify. Staff sorted quick after second call. There was a hair tie on the floor on arrival making me think it hadnt been hoovered. Breakfast was fair. Bacon was very fatty and not very appetising. Both mornings there was no chocolate sauce for waffles. Food was hot and plentiful. Staff in general were lovely and helpful."

"The room was really nice - we moved rooms because we had an adjoining door in ours and you could hear absolutely every move from next door (worth asking about this if booking). Would certainly stay again. "
