Liked: Staff & service, amenities
We had a lovely mini apartment, bedroom, fully equipped kitchen/living area across from the main building, very quiet, apart from a constant hum once your card was in to keep the electricity on. The washing machine was appreciated, as were the nearby shops and buses and train station.
extremely clean and quiet hotel with very welcoming staff and in a wonderful area, very close to Queen’s University and the Ulster Museum and Botanical garden
Really enjoyed the stay in your hotel staff very helpful especially Josh who made us feel at home will visit again if anything negative bit pricey at 194 euro for nights stay
Everything was first class
I couldn’t find fault with the hotel or the staff
I have just completed my third stay there and it’s my go to place now when I have any errand to the Belfast area
Very clean hotel with very helpful staff, it’s the 2nd time we have stayed in this hotel.
We can fully recommend this hotel if you are looking for a nice hotel close to Belfast city centre….
A very pleasant and well located hotel. Our room was spacious, comfortable and very clean. The public areas had a nice feel and restaurant was comfortable and had a nice ambience. Two small issues, our room was quite hot due to warm weather in Belfast. We had windows open for the duration of our stay but the room remained a little uncomfortable. This is probably an unusual problem in Belfast but one that will become more common. The second issue was service at breakfast. On the first day of our stay, there was a guy called Tony in the restaurant and he was fantastic. I have rarely seen a guy work so hard and he still found time to have a pleasant chat. On the second day Tony was not at work and it was not great, I put in a breakfast order and 30 minutes later I put it in again. The young lady I spoke to was rather abrupt and said 'you have to give us at least 10 minutes to prepare an order'; 5 minutes later she came to our table to ask what we had ordered. We were served 10 minutes later. 45 minutes is a long time to wait for a poached egg!
I loved this hotel. It is lovely, and small enough to feel cozy. The lobby is lovely and inviting. The staff were exceptional. Our room was charming and clean. The breakfast was excellent. No cereal in dispensers. Much classier with a wide variety of options plus menu offerings included.
Bar meals were very good, with ample choice from snacks through to main meals. The buffet breakfast offered a varied choice and cooked items were refreshed regularly. All hotel staff we met and engaged with were friendly and helpful.
My wife and I booked two nights at the Malone Hotel and liked it so much we stayed for an extra night. Friendly staff comfortable room good food
Situated in a quiet leafy part of Belfast but close enough to the city and all its amenities. I highly recommend the Malone Hotel.
The room was big and comfortable. The bathroom was clean and the staff were friendly and welcoming. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it.
The staff was nice. Apartment was a little bit outdated but otherwise OK. It was clean and bed was nice. Surroundings were peaceful and nice. Would stay again if I would be in Belfast.
