We had breakfast on 3 mornings and ate at the pub on 3 nights and every meal was tasty, good value and never disappointed.Superb food throughout and very friendly and attentive staff. The room was huge with a fantastic period atmosphere but every modern convenience (roll-top bath, huge separate shower, twin sinks, extremely comfortable king-size bed, storage etc). Staff were great. We ate both in the evening and breakfast. All great. Our best stay anywhere in the country for years!"
