What a wonderful hotel. Chic and tidy with a really friendly and functional spa plus a truly excellent restaurant (great fine-dining chef, cocktails and wines). A bit special this one. right on High Street, yet very quiet and Olde World. Felt the stage-coaches still there!
We are looking forward to our next stay - might make this a monthly retreat.

Great initial welcome from Mike, backed up by some wonderful idiosyncratic features that uplifted the stay. Complimentary Sipsmiths Sloe Gin in the room, choice of two single malt whiskies (also complimentary) and freshly brewed coffee at the refreshments station were unexpected and warmly enjoyed! Restaurant and bar staff were very helpful and food preparation and presentation were excellent. The breakfast of blueberry pancakes were the prettiest presentation we've ever seen.

We had a lovely one night stay here. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. The room was clean, a large shower room, and a very comfortable bed. We had dinner there and the food was lovely. The breakfast was included and also good - the chef came to take our orders for cooked food, and was very accommodating.
