"Absolutely amazing, the spa is heaven, would be a dream if spa/gym were open longer or 24hours, or if they had a kids club so the parents could peacefully enjoy, the apartments came with everything you need and was luxury but they do need air con, thank you, I can’t wait to stay again!"

A cut above the normal guest house
"Very friendly and laid-back (in a positive way). Excellent facilities and while not en-suite (due in part to the period buildings), the easy access bathroom facilities were excellent and spotless. Unique arrangement (in the normal UK set-up) where there is a kitchen that can be used during your stay - just remember to wash up the stuff you use. Stayed at a few places in Southern Germany that are like this and it means there's a lot more freedom than a normal B&B or Guest House. Plus it has a restaurant and medieval bar downstairs. If you want an historic place to visit and an atmospheric stay for a few days, you can't go wrong with The Tree Inn."
