From the very start of our stay our hosts were very attentive, from offering to go the pharmacy (I was poorly first couple of days) to giving us great advice on where to go and what beaches to visit. Everything required was available in the studio and the view was absolutely outstanding across Lac Leman. Many many thanks for letting us stay with you."

"A lovely appartement, very quiet but with everything that we needed. It is perfectly located - out of town but close to the free bus service and a 15 minute walk to shops and restaurants. The hosts gave lots of information and advice, including providing ski storage downstairs. We would definitely stay again!"

He came to meet me within 5 mins. of my call, showed us the place and explained everything. He also spent time introducing local restaurants and points of interest. The check in was a pain as we were given a number but that number is not in use during check in day and instead a voice recording and new number in french. The chalet was not as clean as in previous year. Floors not clean under sofa. Bathroom floor not clean. We have always had towels before. With change in management this was a change and no towels. "Overall, I was happy with this rental. The property is well situated, amazing views, ski in / ski out. Once you get your head around which door to come in and which lift to use it's all quite convenient. The flat itself is small (though described accurately on the website) but needs modernising. Communications and check in / out all okay."

"Location très bien placée proche de la gare et des départs de bus pour visiter la région. Pour faire les courses grande surface et boulangerie à côté. Seul point négatif le volume du frigo, il est beaucoup trop petit pour deux donc pour un couple avec deux enfants c' est quasiment impossible de prévoir pour deux jours de courses."

"This 'cosy' 4 bed is in a great location, and is perfectly comfortable and well furnished. Our biggest frustration was with Gael the owner. €190 worth of extra costs, were not detailed until after our booking, and the host threatened to cancel if we didn't pay them. It is also not clear that there is no bedding included, which would cost the 3 of us €80. The value for money is still not too bad, but it would have been good to know about the charges when we were booking. The building's lift did...

"We had a fantastic holiday in Samoens. The property was lovely, very peaceful and with beautiful views. The kitchen was well-equipped and the big bedroom had plenty of storage. The smaller room with the bunk beds was perfectly adequate. Beds were comfy. If only there was wifi!"

"A great chalet located next to Sherpa supermarket and a short walk to the centre of Chatel with all the cafes, restaurants, bakeries and Super Chatel ski lift. The chalet is very clean, well equipped (washing machine a bonus) and warm. Hosts are great and easy to communicate with. The welcome gifts are a nice touch. Will definately recommend."

"Duplex apartment was exactly as described. The layout was very well thought out and worked well. It was just 4 of us staying - parents and adult children. Plenty of space in the living area with log burner - we used it in April and had to open the windows as it was too effective! The kitchen/ dining area had everything and plenty of it. Great shower with lots of hot water, the bath upstairs was underneath a large Velux window so the beautiful starry night sky was easily visible. We couldn't...

"Loved the view from this property overlooking the lake. Would have like air conditioning. A warning to anyone washing their clothes in the on-site laundry. It automatically dispenses soap and even after washing out clothes a few times after it stank of the soap smell very strongly. It gave my wife a headache and eyes watered. We could not believe we could not get that strong soap smell out. My wife almost threw away her clothes that she has washed there. Again don’t use their onsite...
