"A great location for flying from Manchester. Nicely priced, nice rooms although the very narrow bath tubs are a problem, suggesting the hotel is need of updating. We like to hit the restaurant the night before flying but remain amazed that we are unable to charge restaurant bills to our room - so old fashioned."

Shrigley Hall Hotel and Spa

Shrigley Hall Hotel and Spa

10/10 Excellent
"Lovely spa hotel. Nice room comfy bed and great shower. Booked twilight spa, the Outdoor pool amazing and spa cafe serving a great choice of food and drinks. The rear of the hotel is a little tatty but don’t let this put u off. Some reviews don’t reflect its positives. Breakfast lovely and lots of choice. Would definitely return"

Delta Hotels Manchester Airport

Delta Hotels Manchester Airport

8/10 Good
"Great location for airport with shuttle service. Italian restaurant onsite fantastic as was spa facilities. I didn’t think breakfast was value for money unless you like large portions of lukewarm sausages etc. staff excellent and helpful. Our room was very dated and on basement level so dark and quite noisy from bathroom pipes. Overall a good choice for overnight stay."

Palace Hotel & Spa Buxton

Palace Hotel & Spa Buxton

8/10 Good
"The reception staff were very friendly and helpful when asking for additional pillows ( only 1 pp provided). The breakfast was good and tasty and plenty of attentive staff if needed. The hotel rooms however are very tired with very poor decor standards. Tiles in the bathroom were miss-matched and grubby and flooring lifting in places. Was surprised to have to pay £5 to park the car as a resident though"
