"Really surprised - clean, modern, comfortable, big room. Staff were really helpful. Shower could’ve been better but was fine. Breakfast was standard - all good. Only issue - you have to park in the NCP opposite and it cost about £17 for 24 hours - no hotel discounts or anything. I think it’s cheaper if you download the NCP app first but that’s not the hotel’s fault."

"Absolutely beautiful building, set in its own grounds. The building was stunning. The staff were lovely friendly and professional. I left my handbag in the restaurant - didn’t discover I’d forgotten it until after we left the following morning. Returned safe and sound and fully intact! Evening meal at the restaurant was great, Excellent food. Brilliant service. The only things which let it down were the massive whole in the restaurant ceiling which had been temporarily sealed with plastic and wood. Our bin hadn’t been emptied in our hotel room. A few loose tiles in the bathroom. It just felt a little tired and unloved."

"Excellent for the airport. Less than 5 minutes walk from the train and airport terminal. Room was compact and clean, although not a fan of the black decor! Restaurant was good for a hotel airport. Ideal for an airport stopover."

"Excellent service from Matthew at reception which was very busy but all the staff moved the queue quickly and helpfully. Enjoyed the drinks in the Sky bar, again very good service. Drinks a bit pricey but to be expected in an airport hotel"
