"We were a bit disappointed with this. I’d say the pictures on the site are very flattering. We arrived in the evening to lots of building and maintenance materials outside the front and in the entrance area. Not the best start. The member of staff who met us was pleasant and helpful. The room was only ok, clean enough but not great. It was just for one stopover for an early flight and the location for that purpose is good. I’ve tried to be very fair and even in this review, but this place is not...

"Exceeded expectations all round. Unusual for uk pub bedrooms.. air conditioning! lovely bedroom above the pub, well appointed, comfortable and quiet once closed. New Owners Becks and Tony super helpful and welcoming. Pub itself also great. Will definitely be back in the future"

"Lovely place. We booked last minute and the room was ready. Lovely room. Comfy bed. Very clean room and lots of tea coffee etc in the room. Lee the landlord was great when we arrived even though we had only booked that morning. Really nice pub and food was fantastic. I would definitely not hesitate to come back."
