"This was ideal for me. I loved it here. It was really peaceful. I couldn't hear a thing apart from the birds and the occasional sheep. I stayed for 4 days and I wished it could have been longer. There is no TV in the hut which also suits me to the ground. The wi-fi is excellent so if you do want to watch something on an I pad or tablet you will have no problem with the reception. There was a nice touch with tea making facilities and scones provided for the 4 days that I was there. I cannot...

Comfy bed, good quality furnishings and great location within the village Only thing I was say is we used the washing machine and then couldn’t find a clothes dryer …. "We have stayed at the Fortescue a few times, but we were a little disappointed this time. Our room was at the back of the hotel and on the first floor, with no lift. My wife is on crutches so getting to the room was a struggle. Also, the room was very small. The bed was comfy and the shower was good. We release that there is always a little more noise at weekends, but we could clearly hear the beats of a nearby club until the early hours of the morning. Tip - If staying at the weekend, ask for a room at the front section of the hotel. We love the hotels position for the shops etc and the staff are fantastic. "
