Enjoy stunning valley views over the village and church, from within the lodge, or from your own private decking area. It's a short thirty minute stroll through the village to the beach, passing 3 pubs and local amenities along the way. There's a further 2 pubs at the beach, or you can hire kayaks and paddle boards to explore our beautiful bay. With access onto Exmoor national park and the South West Coast path, from your front door, there's walking aplenty. The lodge includes a double bedroom with TV and en-suite shower room. The twin room has two single beds; both rooms have plenty of storage. There is a further bunk bed room, with beautiful views, and a family bathroom, with bath, shower and heated towel rail. The lodge has a well equipped open kitchen, dinning and living area, with plenty of space. French doors open on to your own private decking area, with outside table and chairs, so you can have a glass of wine and take in the view. The lodge has a grassed garden area to the front and private parking for two cars. It’s in a really good location, with lots of lovely beaches nearby. My five year old loved the rock pools at Coombe Martin. It was clean, quiet and comfortable and extremely dog friendly which made a relaxing week a possibility. It is a great base for visiting sites like Ilfracombe, Lynton and Valley of the Rocks, whilst Combe Martin gives easy access to the coastal path. We had a wonderful stay at Apple Tree Lodge, we found the property to be much more spacious than pictured. The views from the terrace were beautiful and we will miss having our dinners out there. We found the property very clean and had mostly everything we could have needed - could have done with some oven gloves and bigger pans but only a minor blip. It was amazing, the property, the location, the views it had it all. Its far from Combe Martin beach with its shops, pubs and restaurants which we did frequent numerous times. The property has everything you need for the perfect stay, we didn't cook but everything was there, the beds where comfy, the living area was very spacious and immaculately clean throughout. We will be back our family really enjoyed the accommodation. Thank you Caroline for everything and the chocolates were a big hit too ##### sharon c.
