"We have just returned from a week at Hotel D’Olonne (or should I say Chateau D’Olonne). We were excited before arrival, and we were not disappointed. The hotel and its staff ensured a safe, welcoming and comfortable stay. Special shout out to Gloria who ran the reception like a boss. Super food in the atmospheric restaurant (think medieval banquet), and the best Aperol Spritz. "Hotel décevant vu le prix. La chambre était vieille, peinture abîmée, équipement vétuste... La cage d'escalier sentait l'urine, la propreté laisse à désirer en général. Le personnel était cependant aimable et attentif, et le petit déjeûner correct. Mais pour 200€ la nuit, on s'attendait vraiment à mieux, surtout que les photos ne reflètent pas du tout la chambre où nous avons dormi..."

"The personel is very friendly, especially in the restaurant. Their food also real good. The building is beautifull. The frontside, with a view is only for appartements i was told. I did not sleep well cause of an itchy bed, and a very, very noisey morning. This made it a bad excperience, feeling really tired before hiking the montblanc haha"
