"No aircon in room it was like living in a greenhouse, one fan which was not enough, windows only opened a couple of inches just not enough, breakfast OK, but had much better in a 4 star hotel, parts of the bathroom were tired and needed a revamp. Had to leave a £50 deposit on arrival even though the room was paid for in advance, 10 days later I am still waiting for it back"

"I had stayed at the same establishment when run as a Travelodge and Ibis. It seems to have lost a little glamour from those days, but still serves its purpose. On checkout I did inform the management of the unbelievingly noisy occupants who had checked in late evening when most had gone to bed.....as I had. Shame about that. Spoil an otherwise enjoyable stay."

Holiday Inn Express Lincoln City Centre by IHG

"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the hotel. The whole place was clean and the bathrooms particularly spotless. The beds were comfortable and the rooms well appointed. The staff were, without exception, extremely helpful and accommodating. Breakfast was a pleasant surprise with plentiful and enjoyable buffet with lots of choice. Parking is discounted for hotel guests, to £11 for 24 hours. All in all we would definitely stay again and would not hesitate to recommend it."

White Hart Hotel

"The White Hart is ideally placed at the top of Steep Hill with easy access to the castle and cathedral. There are several restaurants within easy walking distance in addition to the hotel's own a la carte and bar food menus. The shower and other plumbing were excellent which was all the more impressive given the age of the hotel and it's location at such an elevation. The negative of our stay was the oppressive heat in our room despite the two fans provided. Planning restrictions prevent the installation of air conditioning. We were there during a minor heat wave, (25 / 26 degrees), I feel for those staying in those rooms when the temperature is even higher. We never ate at the hotel restaurant other than for breakfast which was very good, great fruit selection. The service was a bit disorganised however, there were plenty of staff available but perhaps the kitchen struggled to meet the demand with the facilities available."

"The hotel was ideally located a few miles out of Lincoln off a main road so was easy to find. The staff were really friendly and helpful and our room was conveniently located on the ground floor. There was no air con but we did have a fan which helped in the warm weather. A couple of stains on the carpet and a really dirty shower head could do with addressing. We eat in Damon’s Restaurant for dinner and breakfast and the staff were really helpful (apart from An initial massive overcharge on a drinks bill which they did sort for us) food was great - American diner type food 👍"

"The staff was friendly & very helpful from the moment we checked in until we finished breakfast in the morning. The hotel is lovely, the room was comfortable & the food is homemade & delicious. I would highly recommend them."

"Great for a nights stay although the receptionist didn't have a clue about anything. ❌️ *No early check in as requested. *No twin beds as requested we got a double bed with two mattresses (which were not comfy at all) *No sockets next to the bed. ✅️ *easy access to many attractions *Easy parking *Lovely bar area *Very clean Definitely would stay again 👍"
