"We had a very enjoyable Christmas at Pleasant Vale. The house had everything we needed. The beds were comfortable, the house was nice and warm and the kitchen had everything I needed to prepare Christmas dinner for the five of us. View from the large picture window was lovely and we enjoyed watching the horses in the adjoining fields ."

"The house was beautifully decorated for Christmas and we felt at home right away. There was plenty of space for 3 generations of family and we loved the hot tub. No queues for bathrooms with 3 showers and 4 toilets in the property! Would recommend for a large family group."

"A stunning properly set in it's own valley down a track and away from everything. Woke up each morning to the company of cows peering over the fence. Beautiful natural gardens with lovely seating and eating spots. Good pubs and restaurants not too far away and lovely beaches one a short drive. Beth is a great host with good local knowledge and stories."

"This is a lovely place to stay. The house is just as good as you see in the pictures. Morning sunlight streams through the windows. The small balcony is beautiful for breakfast. We cycle and run. "A family gathering of 6 adults (3 generations) and 3 children (aged 3,6 and 8) plus a baby - and there was still plenty of room. Everyone had a fantastic time. The property is lovely, well equipped, clean and in a great location with superb views. Easy access to the beach. Michael the owner was very helpful and easy to contact when needed. "We have stayed in Penny's lovely properties in Trewent Park many times, and always have a fabulous stay. Le Chalet is lovely - clean, comfortable and well-equipped and worked perfectly for our family. We love being so close to the beach and being within a short drive of so many beautiful spots, as well as being right on the coastal path - handy for walks with wonderful views in either direction. Penny is a fantastic friendly host, answering queries promptly and providing thoughtful extra touches...

"A perfect place for a couple to switch off and relax. Very well equipped and close to lovely beaches and places of interest. The only downside was finding it. Hideaway is a good name as we couldn't find it. It only has a small nameplate that could not be seen from the road. The satnav takes you to the wrong road . Luckily someone in the management company was able to help.Detailed directions are a necessity for this lovely property."
