"Very nice property in a quiet neighborhood right across the river from downtown Salem and most attraction. Very walkable when the weather is nice. Beds were comfortable and plenty of space for groups traveling together. Communication with the host was easy, Meg was very responsive. Decent sized outdoor space with a grill and patio furniture. "We traveled to the area for the Boston Marathon. This home and location were the perfect place for us to be able to relax, cook our own food, and prep for the weekend without the hustle/bustle of the city. The close proximity to public transportation was great and it was an affordable Uber ride into Boston as well. The walkability of the town - to restaurants, churches, groceries, etc. - was excellent. The neighborhood was quiet and the home was clean and had everything we needed for our stay....

"Stayed in Marblehead for a Celebration of Life. The house was comfortable, had a large yard for the kids to play in and the 1 year old learned to climb stairs (totally his option LOL), Rooms are larger than you expect and plenty of room to find your own space. I would recommend it for a family and it is pet friendly. Thanks Bill for letting us stay there."

"We enjoyed our stay at the Magnolia house. It was convenient to where we needed to be in doing college visits and only a 15 min walk from the T when needed and 15 min from there to downtown Boston. The property was very clean, organized, and provided all the basic necessities like sugar, salt/pepper, shampoo/conditioner, dish soap, paper towels, tissues, toilet paper as well as a gourmet coffee and tea station. Laundry with both washer and dryer with dryer sheets and detergent made it so homey....

"Very cute spot! Lake was beautiful. Close for Ubering to and from Salem which is why we were there. There seemed to be a miscommunication on allowing us to check in early, however, bc when we arrived dirty towels were still in a pile on the bathroom and the bed sheets were used. Not a huge deal, we stripped the bed ourselves and added new sheets and cleaning crew came around 45 minutes before “normal” check in and did the rest. Also was pretty cold at night and in early morning and unsure how...

This time my youngest son got married and imagine my joy when the Rum Runner House was available to rent this weekend since we had such a good time the first time we stayed here.
