"Beautiful, clean and stylish hotel. Wonderful pool areas and great to have the beach and beach sunbeds right in front of the hotel.
Breakfast buffet was excellent and the dinner buffet was also superb with so much choice and very tasty.
I really enjoyed the yoga class and the aqua aerobics.
The evening entertainment was great.
The hotel is close to lots of good restaurants and is also close to Rethymno Old Town (40 minute walk or €7 taxi) which is beautiful. "

"We were a family party ages ranging from 2 years to 84 years. The villa was great for all of us from swimming pool, jacuzzi outdoor pizza oven to the air conditioning and lift, we couldn't fault it. "It was a modern comfortable property. The pool was clean bright and inviting. The living accommodation had all those amenities that one would expect for a relaxing holiday. There is no washing machine and it would have been nice to have but it looks like this is common in Crete. The coffee machine in our room was not working and the shower was the only room that needed more attention. But none of these would make us not wanting to revisit and would definitely recommend to anyone wanting to have a quiet relaxing time."

"We had a wonderful stay at Villa Gonia. The house is very beautiful, spacious and has everything needed. Perfect for families. The owners are wonderful people and have an excellent family restaurant down the road. We went twice in a week :) would highly recommend. Kids (and parents) were sad to leave. "
