Nice clean hotel in the heart of everything

Posted 27-Jun-2017
From the time we checked in until we checked out was a great experience. Every employee that we encountered was very helpful and friendly. We stayed in one of the remodeled rooms (room 2950) and was surprised at how large the room and bathroom were. The room was very clean and has a refrigerator which is always a plus. Even the hallways and elevators were very clean. All I ever want in a hotel is a clean, safe and secure room and I got all that and more. There are 2 swimming pools (one for over 21 and the other for all ages) in which they provide the beach towels so there's no need to pack any. You can't take any food or drinks into the area, but they have a bar and snack bar where you can order drinks and food. There's also a pool table, ping pong tables and corn hole games for guests to use. Planet Hollywood is conveniently located in the center of everything - across the street from the Bellagio, next to Paris and there's a bus stop in front of the hotel. I will definitely stay here again and will recommend it to anyone who is interested in traveling to Las Vegas. I would rate them a 10 if I could.

Great Place To Stay

Posted 27-Jun-2017
Pros: Location, price, comfort, amenities, view from the room.
Cons: I was not too crazy about the shower head in the shower. It put out very little water pressure. Parking is a little difficult and a long walk.
Location: Lots of restaurants and a shopping mall. Good location on the strip. Gordon Ramsay Hamburger on the casino level is so worth the wait and the price!
This was my 1st time staying at Planet Hollywood, and I would stay there again. I loved the location on the strip and the actual hotel itself. I picked Planet Hollywood for my stay over other hotels because of Gordon Ramsay Hamburger and Cabo Wabo Cantina being there in the hotel. It was so worth it! There is also a shopping mall there, which was very convenient. Room was very nice and it was very quiet at night. Bed was soft and comfortable.

EDC WEEK

Posted 27-Jun-2017
Overall experience was excellent. The only bad thing I would say about the hotel is that the wifi connection is poor. Rooms are great and the service is outstanding. I would recommend to friends and would even stay there again the next time I'm in town.

Horrible signage to figure out how to check in but not have to do valet. If you do self parking you have to walk through the entire miracle mile shops with all your luggage. With 2 kids it's a horible time. There's only 2 dirty elevators from the parking garage to even get to into the mall with all our stuff and they are typically full so your sweating in the garage waiting for an open elevator to fit into. Updated rooms are nice but everything else sucks.

Pros: Location, comfort level, two pools
Cons: The air filtration leaves much to be desired. We stayed on a non-smoking floor and could smell marijuana from another room coming into our bathroom.
The self-check-in was a piece of cake. The room was very spacious and comfortable. We enjoyed our long weekend.

Return trip to Las Vegas

Posted 26-Jun-2017
Las Vegas is one of my favorite destinations... This trip we stayed at Planet Hollywood after booking at Expedia... Upon arrival the staff couldn't find our reservation as Expedia had made a mistake in my name in booking it... The staff was able to locate the error after almost and hour of us waiting and then placed our group in adjoining rooms and waived the resort fees as a consolation... The rooms were clean and the staff attentive... It was 115 degrees during the heat of the day I would recommend this property to others...

Pros: Everything! :)
Cons: The price of 3 pancakes! $30 a little much!
I went for a concert this past weekend and had a fabulous time! My room was about a 3 minute walk to my concert. Friendly staff clean rooms.

First Vegas Experience

Posted 26-Jun-2017
The fact that a "resort fee" is illegal in many places goes to show how low these hotels are willing to sink to make an extra buck. A fee of $119USD charged to use the weight room which I never used, the spa I never used, and the worst "WIFI" I have ever experienced. Staff apoligized for the poor signals but only recommended we pay to upgrade the wifi even though we are already paying for it? Hotel compared to and was inferior to hotels I've stayed at in Buffalo which doesn't say much. Vegas experience was still fun because of the company and what we did while we were there but I wouldn't recommend this hotel to anyone. Our "newly renovated room" as promoted was an old room with a garbage view through a small window. Location was great, club was terrible.
