We loved our stay here! Pool was great, staff was awesome and so friendly. Only thing is we wouldn’t recommend Fremont street if you have young kiddos, it’s right out of the hotel. But our stay at the golden nugget was awesome thank you :)
Excellent vacation - room upgraded, fantastic cabana at the hideout pool with very attentive staff and a much needed massage. Accommodated a late check out request and kept our bags since our flight was scheduled for much later than our check out
My room was spacious and clean. Check in and out went effortless. I was there for a week and had no problems. The hotel gave me and my guest some pretty amazing complimentary gifts. I really enjoyed staying at the golden Nugget in Old Vegas...
The GN hotel and casino was a great stay on our road trip from Texas to the California Giant Sequoia National Forest. Route 66, Vegas (baby)Golden Nugget, The Grand Canyon, 4 Corners and Window Rock Arizona and back home.
The Golden Nugget casino has pretty much everything you need. The PLUS, ********** 10 ⭐️- The Golden Nugget is pet friendly.

Location is decent. You get what you pay for. Rooms could use some updates.
It was EDC weekend and I wanted a hotel close to my shuttle pickup. The Nugget was reasonably priced and only 5 mins away. Check in was on a kiosk but if you needed assistance someone was behind the desk. My room was in the Carson tower. It was huge compared to Vegas standards and haf a vanity table perfect for doing my makeup. The bed was comfortable and the temperature was easily controlled by the thermostat. The only thing that showed its age was the bathroom as there were some areas of rust in the bathtub. Besides that the water pressure was great. They have great food choices in the hotel and a 24hr store inside. One of the exits opens up right out into the Freemont street experience so its perfect. I loved my stay and will be back.
The room was clean and basically well appointed. Everything was there. They charge a “resort fee” but also charge you for extra coffee if you run out of the four they provide free. It does seem silly and nickel and dime for a big casino/hotel, but that is what Vegas seems to be about nowadays.
The pool was closed for two days due to a leak of some kind. They waived the resort fee for one day. When did that “resort fee” start to be acceptable anyway?

It was fun to stay on Fremont! The hotel was what we expected. The pool was closed our first day due to the shark tank having some issues. But it felt safe, and well maintained except our shower wasn’t draining. When they came to fix it while we were gone (as we had asked) they left the shower knobs off and the parts there. We had to call to ask to be switched rooms. It would have been nice if they had addressed the situation and not just left it there.
The shark tank was pretty cool, but the pool area was a lot smaller than the pictures.
Location wise I was happy. We could easily walk everywhere and Lyft to the Strip.

We arrived exhausted and paid for early check-in expecting a smooth start. Instead, everything unraveled.
First, we were given the wrong room. After going back to the front desk, we were sent to another room that was completely unclean, trash everywhere and clearly not ready. We waited 45 minutes for staff. No one came. After calling again, we were told help was “on the way.” Still, no one showed.
At that point, we had to return to the front desk again. A manager eventually moved us to a better room, which we appreciate, but it doesn’t excuse the complete lack of urgency, communication, and accountability.
Other guests nearby said they experienced similar issues, which makes this feel like a pattern, not a one-off.
The shark tank, one of the main reasons we booked, was empty, which was a huge disappointment.
Positives: Claim Jumper was great for breakfast, Saltgrass Steakhouse was excellent, and Vic & Anthony’s is worth visiting. Erin at checkout was kind and removed over $200 in resort fees, which we appreciated.
But one helpful employee and good food don’t make up for a poor overall experience.
In a city like Vegas, there are too many better options. We wouldn’t return.
The staff was very friendly, from the valet to front desk to the bellman were very polite and informative. The bathrooms were very clean and the entirety of the hotel. Our room was clean. Our favorite was the Ice Bar, Jennifer is an amazing bartender! Makes amazing drinks and very friendly.
So during my whole trip, I had to keep going up and down to the front desk first of all my reservation couldn’t be found after waiting in a long line to check in. They sent me to another line. Finally found my reservation once I got to my room it smelled like someone just smoked a fresh pack of cigarettes. So I had to go downstairs waiting in line again the service they were really nice about it, and switched my room. I then got to the new room and there was no fridge which was fine but in trying to call the phone didn’t work so there I went once again downstairs waited in line and they said someone will come up I waited about two hours in the room. Nobody came up. Then parking is horrible. The self parking kept texting me and trying to charge me when I register the car at the front desk so when I asked the people in the parking structure, they said for me to go back in line and wait in the front desk again and ask them so they’re going again back in line. This is already the fourth time and had to get my ticket valid, which they did it, but it was just a lot of inconvenience and then the last night we couldn’t park in valet or in the self parking garage the self parking garage was completely full and they were still letting people go in at like one in the morning and when we came down and told the lady, she just gave us a paper and said to park up the street at the Sister parking garage, which would’ve been nice for them to tell us at the beginning because we had a 3 AM flig
