A short but very pleasant stay at the hotel. As I was visiting relatives I didn't use all the hotel facilities but the room was large, quiet and comfortable, albeit a bit dark. Breakfast was excellent as I expected.

I had an amazing 4 day stay at the Marine Hotel. My room was very comfortable and it had an amazing view of the golf course and across the sea to the Isle of Arran in the distance. All members of staff I encountered we very helpful and friendly and nothing was too much trouble for them. The service was first class. I'm a wheelchair user and the staff went out of their way to make sure I was ok and had everything I need. The food was excellent and the room service was too. I highly recommend...

The staff were friendly, with one lovely ginger boy telling us lots of stories about the hotel and its origins, and one tall waiter finding us a seat looking onto the arena despite those tables all being reserved (sorry that I forgot the actual names!) The lodge was cosy, clean, well equipped and also wheelchair accessible which we thought was a nice touch. The food was amazing.. Only disclaimer is that this is a review about a budget-mid-price hotel. All the ravings probably don't compare to a hotel that costs £££ per night. Other disclaimer: I was given the Lomond Suite, in the older part of the hotel; everything about the room relates to that specific room and be. That said...
