"Bed was not my type of bed good parking"

"Most staff were helpful,a member of restaurant gave a Fawlty towers experience very abrupt and had to be reminded of completing dinner order and getting the bill. Meal was amazing but very let down at breakfast which we didn't eat. Bar staff were super helpful. The room was adequate but could do with a yellow strip at high step as you entered in the courtyard rooms."

"The reception desk attendant when we checked in was world class!! She was truly incredible and so helpful. She suggested restaurants and activities and ways to better enjoy ourselves in the area. We probably talked with her for 20 minutes. Absolutely lovely woman. We found when we checked out that her mom was working the reception desk on the day shift. We definitely told her what a great human she had raised. The one area we chuckled to ourselves was how irritated the computerized elevator voice seemed with. Everything she said seemed veiled in "quit bugging me now". It was funny. It could have been a terribly uncomfortable room and we still would have loved it for the desk clerk but it was clean and comfortable, so bonus."

"Our stay at the Carmel Apartments in Falkirk was a wonderful reminder that you should never judge a book by its cover—or in this case, an apartment! From the outside it looked fairly ordinary, but stepping inside was a completely different story. The apartment was modern, spacious, and exceptionally well-equipped with everything needed for a comfortable stay. One feature that made my day was the washer-dryer combo, iron and ironing board which is always a welcome luxury when you're several weeks into a road trip! We had a wonderful stay and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. The apartment is conveniently located nearby the massive retail park within walking distance with many restaurants and shops on offer. The check in process was simple and straight forward with clear instructions from the host. On street parking nearby was easy to find. Overall, we felt this stay offered excellent value for money with all the modern amenities that you need for a short or longer stay."

"Check in was great. The hotel is beautiful and great location. But our toilet didn’t work and when I called I was told that the maintenance guy was on holiday. With no resolution offered until I insisted that we really needed a working toilet. Then we were moved to another room and the rest of the stay was great. It was just a bit off putting that it sounded like we were expected to be fine with a non working bathroom"
