Windsor Motel Review
I knew this would either be really cool or a mistake. It was cheap, so chances are there was a reason. The manager was very nice, the room was fairly gross but..... the bed was comfortable, the sheets and comforter smelled great and the hot water worked well. If you were willing not to look at the walls and the floor, you were good. For one night coming through, it got the job done. They gave you a fridge and a microwave kinda thrown together with an extension cord in the rear of the room which was nice, I didn't need it but they tried to make it as nice as they could given its age.

Ok..for a night
Room was clean and location was good to walk to stores, lake and restaurants. Went in October, only had a portable heater for heat and gap in bottom of door. Ok for a night but wouldn't stay longer.

Quiet and clean with very friendly staff. Just close enough to the village for easy walk to shops and restaurants. Parking was a little tight and the rooms were a little small (especially the bathroom). Overall, I’d stay here again- great value.

There was nothing to like. tried to go to the desk to check in and the attendant had to unlock the door to let me in. The attendant didn't speak English so I could understand. I parked to go to my room and the attended came with broom and dust pan to sweep out the room. Then decided to give me a different room and the same thing he was going to sweep. I finally asked for my money back. The charge has hit my card but not the credit. This was after check out time at 3 PM.

Windsor Motel was the perfect location for being able to walk to the lake, restaurants and shopping. Also great location for leaving the town to explore the roads around the lake and beautiful scenery on the motorcycles. The hotel staff were friendly and helpful.

This hotel was extremely disappointing. I completely understand the lack of workers as everywhere is suffering staff shortages, but when I walk into a room and there are multiple things wrong that are simple fixes - the staff shortage isn't an excuse. When I walked in, a HUGE bug fell onto me as I closed the curtains and there was a huge spider crawling down the tv. When we went to turn the light on (there are no light switches, which I get because it's old) we found that the light didn't work because the extension in the outlet was completely broken so we had 1 small light in what was essentially a cave. In the bathroom, molding was missing from around the window and floor as if the bathroom was mid-remodel, but nothing was new so that obviously wasn't the case. The shower curtain was paper thin and half of the holes for the rings were ripped - something so simple that could easily be replaced. When I went to turn the faucet on, the faucet literally turned off. Last but not least, the beds were horrible, we were essentially sleeping on rubber sheets under extremely thin sheets..and the comforter smelled like vomit.

We booked it last minute and the price was right. We were super close walking distance to everything (beach, shops, restaurants). The trolley stop was less than 100 feet from the hotel if we wanted to go further away. It’s a no frills place but we only needed a place to rest our heads while we were in town and this worked out perfect for us. A/C worked great.

Keep in mind that the Windsor falls in the budget category. That being said it is excellent for what it is. It’s not the Ritz, but it was clean and convenient with very friendly staff.

Like earlier reviewers had stated the room was small, and a little outdated, but it was clean, and the location was perfect as it was central to everything that we wanted to see and do. We would definitely book again in the future.

The bed was very uncomfortable, the mattress leans backwards. The amenities were inconsistent, coffee, but no coffee cups, just plastic cups. The air conditioner was very loud.

The place is really run down and the "pool" is solely for those who have small children. It is very tiny. The good thing about the place is the convenient location within the area.

I tried to save a few bucks by staying here, but was not happy with my choice. Old, outdated, and a little creepy. Room seemed clean enough, but there was a distinct urine smell at one location. If you can afford it, the place next door would be a better choice.

We had a great family vacation at the condo! Very clean and close to everything! My only complaint was the beds are old and sag making them less than comfortable and the blinds need to be replaced for privacy since the windows are pool side.

The floor felt like it hadn’t ever been cleaned even though the place reeked of Fabuloso. Bathroom smelled like urine. There was a fight in the parking lot in the middle of the night. Curtains don't close all the way which isn't great considering there is a huge window separates bed and parking lot. The bed felt like it was just a boxspring. No wonder it was one of the only places in town with vacancy that weekend. Hopefully they make some improvements. Price isn't worth it.

Not worth the price!!!! Patrons beware!!!
The floors were gross!! Housekeeping only took the garbage everyday never cleaned the room. There was only one outlet that had a power bar plugged into it for electricity. The beds were very uncomfortable and the sheets were dirty!. The reservation said breakfast was included but there was no breakfast. For the amount that i paid to stay here it should have been better quality. It said $99 a night but we ended up paying double that!

Room oder could be smelled before even getting into the room. Place had dust and spiders everywhere in the room . Under the chairs toms of spiderweb. Toliet was so loud. Bathroom smelled like mold. This place should be $25-$50 a night. They increase prices because its next to all the amenities. I booked a double bed room. For 2 kids 2 adults One queen one full size bed both beds creaked each time you sat on it We lasted in the room no more then ten minutes and packed our bags to head out. I went to the front desk and told the front desk lady about the room conditions and that we could not sleep with bugs crawling on us. She immediately called the owner and without hesitation he refunded my money. The only good thing I can say about this place is that the front desk girl and the owner handled this situation with excellent customer service. Other then that I would not recommend this place to anyone not even for a one night stay.

Nostalgic LG Motel
We only stayed overnight to meet friends the next day. It was super old school looking. Bathrooms are renovated. They should consider updating the rooms cuz they are kind of old school. Bed was comfortable. It's a one man show at this motel the front desk guy is the manager and the housekeeping. He did a great job. The room was clean. The rooms do feel a bit like a cell since they are concrete.
