Surpassed all expectations. Amazing

We had a wonderful 2 nights stay at LA Home on Lake Garda. The staff were helpful and friendly. The rooms are spacious, light and airy with a lovely atmosphere and well-decorated. The pool is not huge but adequate size for a few strokes. I would highly recommend a stay here.

The view from room 602 (Mini-Suite) was jaw dropping and enhanced by the cloudless blue sky, mill pond view of the lake and a backdrop of the mountains with snow caps. The Tenuta is a very special place: nested in the vineyards of the Valpolicella atop a hill giving you breathtaking views from every angle, it really gives you the opportunity to relax and retreat. One of the most memorable stays for me, big thanks to the lovely staff there. The hotel(house) offers a very cozy and warm experience that makes you super chilled and relaxed with the super greenery desktop view there. Valpolicella is very lovely town.

Escalus is located in the centre of Verona, just a few steps from the Arena, which always seems to have something happening. The lack of in-house restaurant, bar or lounge space was no draw-back at all for us. Breakfast in-room service was excellent and always delivered on time. I don't think we've ever met such nice people at a hotel before. Donatella and Julio the owners were amazing. Me and my husband are vegan and I can't have gluten and they bought us things to eat for breakfast. They were helpful and always had a smile. Very easy to find - we got the bus from Train station to Colombare. (Bottom end of Sirmione, great place to stay. Shuttle bus for 1 euro takes you to main area which is about 35 mins walk, nice walk though) The area is quiet and roads very clean with lovely flower borders all along. It's one of this place where, as soon as you get in, you're overwhelmed by so much beauty and character. The hotel is full of antiques and art. The building is beautiful and charming. We were in a suite and we were like in a cocoon. The staff is nice and helpful. And then the hotel - although quiet at night - is bang in the middle of the city. Highly recommended.
