"Lovely house in a fabulous location! House was really clean, lots of space and a well-equipped kitchen. Thank you for the welcome basket, very lovely to sample local produce.The pool was warm and very welcome on hot days with shade from the large awning for meals and for those who needed it. Owner is lovely and available via messages for any questions. 10 mins walk to the Super U which was well-stocked and open til late. The bars and restaurants by the market were fun and good value for a beer, pizza or moules frites! 15 minute walk through the pines to the beach, stunning beach for walking or relaxing and worth a visit for a beautiful sunset. We did have a lot of mosquitoes during our visit, we purchased repellant spray and candles from the Super U but we found we couldn’t sit outside after dark and had to keep windows closed at night. "

"Great location for family to unwind together with short walk to the beach and wooded area which was great for dog walks. Property was a good size for 8 adults and 2 dogs. Could do with a bit of TLC, few items were broken or unserviceable, ie sunlounges, pool table (warped), radiator not working. Lighting was hard to read by, but cosy. Not as clean as we would expect, Sheets had a stain on one bed and parts of the garden required attention. A warning about mosquitos would be useful, not sure if this was just the time of year we went. Pool was a great bonus, heated but only to 26 degrees and not adjustable, which would be ok at the height of summer but not all year round. Host was accessible via message through VRBO and was able to instruct how to turn the heating on when we had a few chilly nights. Would be useful to provide a folder of information about the property and surrounding areas. Places to visit and places to eat, Police, Pharmacy, Town hall etc. Overall we had a lovely family holiday and would return due to the location."
