However, the hotel is quite dated and the decor is flat and tired. The hotel is close to Kyoto station - a 15 minute walk or so. Location is near Kyoto station, surrounded by restaurants and bars. Overall it is a great experience, however you have to meet the check-in timing from 4pm-9pm otherwise there will not be any receptionist to tend to you. We wanted to drop our luggage and go for a day tour, but because there is no receptionist at the desk we have to walk back all the way to Kyoto station to store our luggage in the lockers. La habitación tenía en tamaño adecuado para 2 personas, contaba con 2 camas juntas (individuales grandes), microondas, parrilla eléctrica, mini refrigerador y utensilios de cocina, el baño se encuentra separado entre inodoro y bañera, te dejan shampoo, acondicionador y boda Wash. La ubicación no es tan cerca de la estación de Kyoto, aprox unos 12 minutos, se encuentra en una zona superior tranquila. También cuenta con calefacción. On the booking confirmation it states that "The front desk is open daily from 4:00 PM - 9:00 PM. The check-in location differs from the property location. To check in, go to 8-4 Kitakarasumacho, Higashikujo, Minami Ward, Kyoto 601-8017" . So when we arrive at 8pm, we walk 10 min to the address above to check in and walked another 20 min to the hotel. Later we found out that you could actually also check in direct at the hotel between 4-9pm.
